Nice Logo! Hopefully we get a deeper character for Wahlberg than Shai had.

It's now the lead story on Entertainment Weekly's website. I'd say the franchise is as strong as ever.

I'm kind of surprised to see Michael Bay and Hasbro going for that 40y/o+ mother demographic, but whatever...

Yes, trimming something down usually means there's less of it, generally speaking. :sly2:

Do not tempt my addiction! That would be a dream too good to be true.

Makes me wonder what Optimus and company would sound like singing Afternoon Delight (well, except for Bumblebee...he'd be playing the music from the radio). :)

Mark Wahlberg is a better actor than Shia LaBeouf, so i'm okay with his casting. The new logo gives me a "Empire Strikes Back" feeling.

ahahaha...as if I didn't already have such a bad taste in my mouth from the first 3.

"Hey Bumblebee, say hello to ya mutha for me."

Wow Bay...good job on getting confidence for this movie going. It pains me...but I think I'm going to have to finally skip a TF movie. I just can't giving money to this. Hit me up when the complete reboot gets going without Bay and his hacks.

Wait... this movie is set a long time after TF3 isnt it? could Mark Walhberg play an older version of 'Sam Witwicky?'

Either way i have a feeling this is either the main character or the father of the main character depending on how this film is going to appeal to teenagers.

I thought the idiot Bay said Walhberg was just a rumor, what an idiot. Also, you don't need an A list to be in this kind of movie.

Which we all know will show up eventually.

Bay does this all of the time. Basically all he does is lie. Sometimes to avoid spoilers, sometimes to fool the fans that he may have made a good movie, and everywhere in between.

It's a good rule in general to just never believe a word he says.

That's kind of the idea I have going on too. Though my problem with that is they don't share any kind of resemblance at all, outside of dark hair.. But I'm ok with Walhberg being in. He's a good actor to me, as I've liked most of everything I've seen him in.
