Man, this is one of the best uses of those Teletraan-1/Ark wall plates that I’ve seen! So glad to see uses like this and thanks for mentioning the credit! This thing is massive, insanely detailed, and awesome!

Mandingo Rex, thank you very much! I printed these Ark wall files you created about five years ago back when I used to work at a printing company and was saving them for future use. Now the future is finally here! Thank you again for your hard work in creating these for the Transformers community to enjoy!

Almost done! The Ark itself is finished. I only have 3 things left to do on my list.
I used one more can of spray foam for the back corner where the two bases meet:

Once it is fully dried over this weekend, I will take it off the black plastic and carve and paint it. It will just be a separate piece much like the cap that sits over the Ark interior. I may glue a magnet in there so it sits over that gap securely without moving. Once it's painted, from the inside of the Ark it will just look like more rock.
I also added a few different species of trees and a few bushes, along with some slight paint highlights on the rocks:

This morning I am finishing the painting on the first of the 5 background boards:

I know my technique of using a sponge brush may seem odd, but it works for me. The only thing left to do after these items is to finish the Sky Spy this week.

As such, this will be my last post on this project. I will start a new thread of the completely finished project in the next week or so, once I have all the finished photos taken. I will also be taking some regular video and doing a POV video of Optimus driving down the road and into the Ark that I will add to YouTube.

Thank you all for coming with me on the journey, your feedback and kind words here on TFW2005. It's been a fun ride! Till all are one!

This has been an exciting post. I would get more pumped to see you add to the post than I did about sneak peeks of new toys!

Easily the best thread to follow on this board. I'm always pumped to see updates on this, and I'm so excited to see it finished, but sad these regular updates will be done. Amazing work and thanks for sharing the journey with us!

Thanks for posting this so we could travel with you on the journey! We've all seen the incredible work you've done here, and the inspiration and ideas many of us got from it for our own projects has been utterly invaluable!

    Agreed!
With how amazing this project has been, it deserves to be an official "sticky", so here we are.
    Congrats!

Thank you my friend, (yes, real life friend....) This has been an epic event on this site. I enjoy much of the creative content through the great people that contribute on this awesome site. But this has overshadowed every other post/ thread since you began. My biggest drive to come to this site recently was to enjoy seeing your progress on this epic project. Thank you for this journey and bringing so many together around this "monster" that you have created. Can't wait to see what you come up with as the "finisher". (Video, etc.)

I found that G1 often use this theme (from 0:19 on) as well for when the Autobots won; figured you might want this one as well, Maximal prime!

This may be the best custom/diorama/Transformer work of art I've ever seen. Great, great job, sir!

I'd say hands-down that it is the best diorama work ever!

I think it looks perfectly fine with lego bricks as telatraan 1. This project looks pretty much perfect even if lego bricks were used for some parts.
