Hey Guys, it's been a while. For the past few days I've been on fall break, I've found myself working on this guy. In the same vein as the Mini Menasor I did a while back, it's a g1 gestalt redone with one legends figure and 4 mini-cons. For Bruticus, I've wanted to improve on what I did with Menasor. I.E. much more articulation, better connections, and overall badassery. So far, I think I've accomplished it. I'm mainly posting this because I want to know what you guys think about the proportions. The legs seem a tiny bit long to me, but I think they work out ok. UPDATE 10/20/09: Decided to beef up thighs using those from Armada Thundercracker. It also gets rid of some of the lego-ness from this bash as it's a bit heavy in that department. I cut sections out of the chest shield to make it look more g1-y and added another piece to the crotch. Started construction on its right arm. Have a ways to go still, but Blast Off fits on there just fine. Note, the Twin Twist head is temporary, but I think I'm going to use it. I just need to put some styrene on the sides and give it a mouthplate. I'm just worried it will be a bit small.
He seems a lil tall, but as long as the other parts are proportioned properly, no worries. Diggin that Menasor, too.
Sadly, no. This guy was put on the back burner because of college and it's still sitting there. I have another project I want to finish up first, but this could be the motivation I needed to finish it.
OH MAN... I came up with this SAME EXACT idea LAST NIGHT... I already started working on it XD Great minds think alike...
Finish that sumbetch! You had a great start now take some of that summer free time to finish this bad boy.
