    I recall using the free faction stickers that ShowZ give with purchases. Worked perfectly fine. I use dry rub and vinyl on MP/3P MP figs but found relatively cheap faction symbols seem to be ok on the chug stuff I have:

    I think these will be fine:

    That looks great!! I'd do the same thing if I could remember to do it. (For that left shoulder, I used a leftover G1 style Autobot symbol from my MP12G G2 Sideswipe sticker sheet...and put the other one onto the right shoulder of my Kindgdom Ultra Magnus.)

    Actual stickers, though? All the ones I've gotten as freebies from ShowZ were dry rubs...and the smaller ones apparently suck, I've had to replace the Decepticon symbol on my NewAge Megatron and the Autobot symbol on my oversized KO Iron Factory Jetfire.

    I would've used this instead:

    If David or Light of Peace were called Studio Series Bumblebee, we would have a bunch of KOs in all sizes.

    Unironically I'd like that. I enjoy MP-44's transformation and it'd just be nice to have but smaller. : )

    This. I guess it was for ease of animation, but I never really liked the decision to have the wheels disappear in the Sunbow Toon.
    Especially since all his toys(barring a few) had em exposed anyway.

    Nah. We were good with that MP10V. Plus there's other attempts that never came about. KuBianBao had a MP13V Soundwave in the grayscale prototype stage that went absolutely nowhere, they had painted prototypes of a MP10VSG Shattered Glass Optimus Prime (Wicked Purple Convoy, if you prefer) and a possible MP28D Hot Rod, they had an off-white prototype in the very early phases of a possible MP36V Megatron that went absolutely nowhere (transformation probably just wasn't gonna work in a smaller form factor).

    The cartoon models for the 1984 crew took a lot of liberties for the sake of simplification which I never liked as a kid (or now). While I understand the benefits of simplification for the sake of hand-drawn animation, I like it even less when my toys are oversimplified to match.

    In MP10's case, it was a particularly odd choice because he's NOT cartoon accurate. The wheel covers feel like a completely superfluous decision. I recently remove the wheel covers from my KO MP10 (Takara deco) - the pins punched out really easily and I have zero regrets. Looks really good. Will almost certainly do the same with MP10v, assuming the pins aren't too resistant.

    Sure. It doesn't make a huge difference from the front or even the back, really (since the tires were visible from behind anyway). I think it just feels more natural to have the wheels as visible vehicle kibble, and it always felt superfluous to have a hatch fold out to cover them. I probably would have felt differently if they actually retracted into the leg, but since they're already there, the cover felt silly.

    Unfortunately, the upper wheelguards still sort of do that... but at least having them open on the sides lessens the effect.

    @SMOG thanks for the pics.

    It's something I've been planning to do with my MP-10 as well. Currently I just don't employ the wheelcovers and leave them on the back, but I've been planning to remove them. I just prefer Optimus to have visible wheels on his lower legs.

    It's also one of two reasons why I'm still sticking with MP-10. None of the other MP Optimi have the option of having the wheels visible: I've studied transformation video's hoping I could mod them, but it looks like no. (Other reason is the colours, where the TT MP-10 colours just appeal to me more than the cartoon colours sported by the others.)
