I tried my hand at painting tonight, as I couldn't get the tiger stripes off without damaging the figure.

Next up is my rendition of Hatchet.

Good Evening! I've started on another Dread quadruped. This isn't Hatchet, since he's not big enough, but I thought that TFTM Stockade makes a GREAT quadruped with very little mods. So, here's Dirtbag. Thanks for looking!

    EXACTLY!

I've tried a first stab at redoing the bolts. Better?

You know, I think I'm going to start down this route.

Totally. I ordered him the day that you suggested that. I have a lot more to accomplish on these two guys. Thanks for the feedback!

Hatchet/Dirtbag looks...let's be honest here; I don't particularly dig the gorilla look. Also, the way the tail was made seemed kinda ehh for me. However, to each his/her own. Are you gonna find a way to fix the thumbs so they'll end up the right way?

Thanks for the comments. This is a WIP thread, so I don't consider either of these guys done at all. I really like the Gorilla look, personally, and I think it works well with some of the other beast mode guys. I love this mold even as the stock.. Stockade.

As far as WIP: He needs paint to get rid of the energon blue, I haven't touched the hands yet, the tail is a placeholder (the tip, not the mount), and there's currently no way to store the drones in alt mode. For Dreadwind, he needs a sealer, weapon paint and I'm not happy with his hands.

That being said, it's Thanksgiving break, so I don't anticipate having any more development this week.

    Thanks for looking!

Agreed! I like beast TFs that transform into vehicles, etc. more than TFs that transform from robot mode to beast mode...

Well I think I worded that wrong...it's not so much that I dislike gorilla-formers(in fact, I love ROTF Devastator's design) it's more that Stockade's design doesn't really mesh with Hatchet's head; I mean, you have Stockade, whose design hews closer to G1 aesthetics, mixed with Hatchet's more organic look. I'm not sure if the two radically different forms/aesthetics really complement each other. However that's just my opinion. Keep going with this (and make a Crowbar/Hooligan while you're at it :] )

It's my goal with this guy to get it looking good. It's just difficult, since the Dreads have almost no alt mode parts visible.

Thanks. Will do. Waiting on some more donors now.

Update: I'm going to try to seal the paint job on Dreadwind. I've added some detail to Dirtbag, too.

Thanks to BigTransFan and Limewire, I've added Hooligan. The team is complete. Now, I have to finalize their designs.

The one is a combination of all the ROTF Recon Ironhide guns. His gimmick is that all four of his cannons (the arm mounted ones and the clip on ones) all connect together in a thousand different ways. That's one way. The other one is Deluxe Laserbeak's two guns put together.

New pics! New design for Dreadlocks. I'm okay with them being removable, since they cheat so much in the movie. That gives them the benefit of being melee weapons for Hooligan (whips).
