If they redid Soundwave and Blaster at voyager size keeping compatibility with the current cassette updates but losing base modes (and maybe the headmaster gimmick), I'd be all in for them. +-MWG-+
Animated Soundwave and Animated Electrostatic Soundwave Cybertron Soundwave at Voyager and Legend sizes technically ROTF Soundwave with the deluxe and legends WFC Soundwave deluxe into FOC Voyager Soundwave
He's one of the big three, we get multipules of him in almost every line. In most lines Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader classes are distinct from legend, legend and any kind of one step toys. WFC and FOC were different iterations of the same line and a few years apart. That's like comparing Classics Optimus Prime to CW Optimus Prime.
I kind of disagree with it being like comparing a Voyager Optimus Prime inspired by the G1 toy to a Voyager Optimus Prime inspired by the G1 toy, but I still get your point. Though that said, there was DOTM Roadbuster who was the only wrecker to get a HA toy and a deluxe (technically Leadfoot did but like Soundwave, his deluxe ultimately did not see true release), and Roadbuster was far from an A-lister name.

It'd be really weird for Hasbro to release half the shit in TR that's been revealed so far. Remember when Soundwave being a Cassette player at retail was an unfathomable concept?
I remember when combiners were impossible to make because retailers would fail at selling individual limbs. I also remember when it was impossible for Spider Man to be a part of the MCU. I also remember when wanting modernized versions of G1 characters were nothing more than unrealistic fanwankers wet dreams. I also remember when live action Transformers movies could never happen.
