Recently got a couple of Yamato 1/12 Strong Bacchi. Finished detailing the first, the other I'll turn into a Purple Bear.

    That's amazing!

Totally worth it IMO though they have shot up in price in recent years. I remember picking up the the Chirico Scopedog in Japan back in 2012 for like $100 MISB and when I was there back in April he was like $200-250+.

    Heads up!

CDX has a review of the preproduction version of the upcoming 1/12 ScopeDog from ThreeZero:

Josh just confirmed that it's all-plastic...

Finally had some time to quick-build my 1/20 Votoms Scopedog RSC and here be some pics and stuff:

I was planning on making an Atlas out of it, but it's a bit too small for it to scale with my HMRs and 1/60 Destroids.

Not sure if the 1/18 will scale better, but I know the 1/12 are a bit way too large. They're nice, tho...

I found one of my only shot of Votoms.
These are now in deep storage.

I think the blue one is 1/18.

I never liked the Atlas. It was too slow and took too long to take down.

Yeah. I think that Strike (and the Rabidly) Dog is a bit bigger than the regular Scope Dog, and will be a good scale with the HMRs and the 1/60s to make for a BT Merc company.

The 1/12 are just way too huge and massive.

Unfortunately, both the 1/18 and the 1/12 Dogs are currently even more ludicrously scalper-priced than Macross stuff.

    Especially the RSC sets...

    Nice pics.

Are you sure the HMR Dougram is 1:60? I thought it was 1:100. The included pilot figures would be very short if its really 1:60.

    HMR Dougram is 1:60.

here's the link with the 1/60 Arcadia VF1S comparo:

Bandai's Hi-Metal R line (moar mecha now! macross, dougram, etc)

HMR Xabungle is listed as 1/100, tho.

    Welp!

Apparently, there is an issue with the arm/shoulder joint on the ThreeZero 1/12, as discovered by fellow MWF member:

    VOTOMS

The hobbylog-thread has a pic of the issue area on the opposite side:
