Well yes and no, i'm after one with all the weapons such as the shoulder rockets, waist cannon, etc. If it isn't necessarily a red shoulder, I always have some red paint.

That's a cool catch! I never picked up this version because I was hoping that a Brutish Dog would be released but alas, it never did.

There was one with extra parts as well but it was like $50-75 more. Pretty happy with it.

Anybody have a Brutishdog they would sell? Or any of the Yamato stuff.

    Thanks.

I discovered this series only recently and immediately fell in love with the concept. I got hold of a couple of model kits and a few Takara 1/18 sets are on their way.

Here's the first Votoms in my collection, the Bandai 1/20 Brutishdog that I only finished building yesterday.

If you know what Gundam Build Fighters is you'll get this.

Haha. If that happened to me, I would be mad at the woman for saying that the Scopedog is a Gundam. Votoms are way cooler. :p

Thanks man. My next build is the Fatty and I'm also planning to customize my Takara DMZs.

I know DMZ and Yamato are different scales but how do they compare?

Based on what I've read, the DMZs have a better finish and overall build quality, while the Yamatos can easily be disassembled for customization (although this can also be a weakness).

Very similarly. Despite the size differences, they're very similar feeling, from the joints to the construction. Plasticy and a lot of friction joints where you would wish they would have ratchets. Archie is quite correct that the Yamatos are super easy to rip apart if you want to custom paint them (which I did with mine). The DMZs look and feel like a smaller Yamato that someone has already painted up.

Whoa! Didn't know there's an actual VOTOMS-thread here. Reposting my pic here.

old 1/48 ScopeDogs with the old figmas for scale...

The parts (guns, etc) are still in the runners. I'll snap 'em together some day...
