    WOAH

so, it's about twice the size, so it would probably weigh in at around $350-ish?

Whoa! The Yamato Brutishdog looks GREAT! As much as I like them, they were too expensive and didn't have "variety". I wanted to see a Strikedog, Standing Turtles etc.

Dude, its kinda difficult to choose as Votoms toys are pretty expensive - IMO! Maybe SydneyY can offer you some suggestions?

Here are some of my older pixs of my Maxfactory ones:

My votoms collection is in storage! If not I would like to share my Bandai 1/20 kits! They're my fave due to the size, cost and ease of construction! :)

I think everyone has their fave scale and make, but I recommend Bandai 1/20 kit if you are into building models. Not too small and not too expensive. And nice looking!
(I don't have one, though. DMZ eats all my Votoms money :( )

If you don't like building kits, I think Takara 1/24 RDM (revival dual model) Scopedog is nice, too. Not sure about the availability/price in the US.
RDM is a reissue of 80s Scopedogs, but still very nice with some diecast.

    Mine's a Red Shoulder version

Hope you'll find one you like :)

LigerPrime, nice to see your collection again!

Thanks, dude! I totally forgot abt the Bandai one that you posed on! Pretty good Scopedog too! I would have gotten it but I wanted more variety! LOL! I believe it only has the Scopedog and Brutishdog in its line-up.

If you want to start collecting VOTOMS stuff, and want one relaly awesome centerpiece to start out with, I think I would recommend the 1/18 Takara DMZ 'Dog over the 1/12 Yamato toy... both are amazing, but the Yamato is a much more acquired taste with lots of removable parts and some joints that need a little work before it's a truly great piece... the DMZs are rock solid and awesome out of the box, and have full paint schemes, whereas the Yamatos are closer to assembled kits, and could really use to be painted...

The second kit...doesn't seems to need paint! Is it like Bandai's Master Grade kits?

I've been drooling over the thought of a Volks forever as well... it's a resin kit with an absurd amount of mobility and detail.

I haven't seen a good picture of a built kit, so I can't say. I hear Turbo Custom kit was sold for 160000 yen (US$1500) originally.

I often hear fans comment on the Volks kit as perfect. I probably don't have the skill to assemble it, though.
Wonder what's happening to the 1/6.

The 1/6 will be at WonderFest... the website says they are working on the joints right now... it's looking great, but really it seems like there should be more detail for the scale... maybe they will kit it out with details after the joints and main shapes are refined?

They seem to be taking a long time, but I suppose I shouldn't complain as I am not buying one (unfortunately).
I hope they will do more detailing, too. It does look a bit flat.

It was made to order only garage kit. Don't know if it justifies the cost, though...
BTW take a look at Cool Stuff thread, QuinJester posted a nice Keroro kit pic :)

Hi, just a quick question :)

Does anyone know about/have Kaiyodo Bloodsucker? I think it's 1/35 scale, but I can't find much info on the figure. I have seen a small pic and I like it a lot :)
Thinking of replacing my MAX35 with it as I saw it on a dealer's list (no pic, though). He's pricing it for $50 or so, but he's in Japan, so I'll have to pay heaps extra to my proxy service, let alone international shipping. Wondering if he's worth it.

Thanks anyway LigerPrime (and sorry about the late reply :( ).

I gotta place my order soon, and I'm torn between Bloodsucker and Car Robot Black Convoy (BC costs more and definitely costs heaps more to ship). Wish I could have both right now :cry

Of the Takara 1/48 Actic Gear line, what would you guys suggest?
