Still don't know how action toys hide the lion legs for the big action toys voltron figure. It has to be partsforming.
If it's not partsforming.... then it will be the best voltron figure.

It looks like the yellow and blue lions tripped and landed on their faces.

I saw a video of the deformed action toys Voltron and the way they did was the lion legs can be detached from the body and a cover placed over them. Possible the big action toys will use the same method of transformation.

That's disappointing to hear. I hope the non-deformed version doesn't do that. I was really hoping to get a mini voltron that combines with all the excessive partsforming that the MiniPla version has.

Ah well. I already have the Lucky Cat version, I was just hoping to get one in the classic design.

So the big one partsforms like the super minipla..... Oh well... At least the smaller one doesn't partsform... Toy accurate.. but good.

The Action Toys versions all appear to transform the same way - You have the option of perfect transformation, leaving the lion legs attached and exposed (ala the SOC) or removing the limbs and replacing them with show-accurate covers (ala the MiniPla). All the parts for both variations will most likely come with the toys (ala the Action Toys super-deformed).

How tall is this the big action toys voltron supposed to be?

I just discovered this thread and tried going back many pages to see if I could find more info but didn't see any. Maybe I missed it or didn't go far enough.

I’ve seen estimates suggesting it’ll be roughly SOC / 3Z sized based on the size of the prototype vs the size of the Action Mini ones, but I can’t recall if AT themselves have given an official measurement.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I think it looks great and will be one for the collection. The minis are a bit too small for me so its good to see this.

I'd still like to see a quality Voltron that's upscaled to the size of the current 3P MP Transformers combiners. I'd also love to see a set of toon accurate lion action figures for display, since that can never happen with a combining set

Looking at the ThreeZero Robo-Dou Voltron. But having seen reports being all over the place I'm hesitant to pull the trigger. Has there been more positive or negative responses here?

I don't spend a ton of time in this thread, but I came in at just the right time, it seems - had no idea this was a thing...Looking good so far!

Whoa, that Diagrugger/Vehicle Voltron proto has my attention. I'm way too out of the loop about this. Where might I find more information about this? Size, pricing, availability? Thanks!

As far as I know (and anyone feel free to jump in and correct me), we’ve only seen prototypes of the mini-sized Dairugger and GoLion. Been circulating for about a year, but there’s still no firm price or release date.

Bunch more proto pics out there (they’re scattered in this thread, but here’s a link with most of them on one page: [News e Anteprime] Action Toys : Dairugger XV "Kikō kantai Dairugger XV" Mini Action Series - Gokin.it by MetalRobot)

The Action Mini line are all in the 6-inch neighborhood, I think.

Mine was fine but if you’re not looking to pose him in extreme dynamic ways, the SOC is better in every other way.

Dang. I was hoping the ThreeZero was an improvement in other ways as well.

Yes Threezero Voltron have better articulation and has lion leg covers so it can be more cartoon accurate like what blitzway Voltron.
But SOC Voltron has more diecast and weapon storage. Chrome lion legs.
Blitzway Voltron is still the best.
Action toys Voltron is coming soon.
    Options are good.

For me. I prefer articulation and the Lion leg covers.
