1) I figured it wouldn’t release on time 2) is this just a bluefin release date and it might release earlier from other distributors?
Doesn’t the Ultimate have ball jointed hips? At the size and being a combiner especially, I think diecast would’ve hurt it moreso than helped it. The MSRP also had people apprehensive, Toynami has a history of marking up stuff.
It's supposed to release this month in the Asian region and next month here. Given we haven't seen any updates of an imminent release this month, I'd say it's definitely delayed. Quite a long delay as well if you ask me.
Super 7 Ultimate Voltron The articulation is much more limited than I expected. I keep messing with it though.
Wait… The shoulders look like that, and the legs have no outward splay? That’s a very weird definition of “Ultimate.”
So, my Elvis Voltron is in the US at my local LaserShip center (yay...) and it was originally dated for the 26th, then today, and now it's in limbo. I had one good experience with them as a service before, my only time using them, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt but I just find it odd that it's sitting at the local hub. I mean, it's Christmas so it happens but eh.
I've had one item from Show.Z handled by Lasership once it got into the states. It was transferred to Lasership...then radio silence for a couple/few days...then it showed up. I've heard some horror stories about them, but I assume they are the exception rather than the rule. Hopefully yours shows up soon!
The vast majority of my Amazon items from Lasership are delivered. With that said, there have been enough that haven't. Worse experience was when me and like 5 friends ordered something recently during black Friday. They were all delayed a day. Then Lasership said they were all delivered, except only half of us actually received it.
I believe so on the hips and 100% the price original was not worth it I got mine for somewhere btwn $200-300 off BBTS when he was on clearance yrs back, wind up getting him, and both Legendaries all on clearance there.
I've long read that these Super 7 figures were really well articulated but this Voltron figure is most certainly not. The upper half has fairly well range but the lower half is very disappointing. Like it has two separate waist joints but the ankles can almost be called arthritic. I also think its pretty cool that the blade on the painted sword is glow in the dark but I wish it had a second, painted shield. I don't like the plain look of the chrome weapons. Also not a fan of how flat the blue and yellow lion heads look, but its cartoon stylized so I can overlook it. I got this for $40 which is fair. A local collector store has this same one for $100 and it most definitely is not worth that.
When I was a kid. My first voltron was a toy voltron that can't transform and shoots water from green lion's mouth. Time for me to buy a voltron. So I decided to order a small one that can combine and with good articulation for now. which is microcosmos elvis. I just wondering if in lion mode. Can they do the sitting position?
Ikr? So far I don't see any pictures of them in sitting position. I just ordered yesterday so I can't try it.... yet.
You guys will find out well before I can answer, but I'm under 90days left til I see my crazy stateside 2021 acquired items
