On a completely unrelated note, I unboxed SOC Dairugger (Vehicle Voltron) finally. This one is amazing! How many times I can make little plane/boat/truck noises before my family throws me outside in the cold?! How many times can I say: "And I'll form.... THE HEAD!" before they take VV away from me?

Seriously, it's awesome. Thank you to all those who enabled me a year and a half ago.

Have you shot anybody with the “head jettison” feature yet? Lol. Agreed that he is an awesome release. He’s about everything I could have hoped for.

Hope that they don't record you doing this and post it on YouTube.

Hey gang - I’d like a little input from the Voltron hive mind. I’ve been getting different acrylic signs made for my nerd cave (TMNT logo, JP logo, Spider-man cartoon logo, etc) and am looking to do 1-2 for Voltron. I’ve attached an example of my X-men sign to show how they translate it from a graphic (everything on face of it is just reflection - it looks gorgeous). My questions:

    1) chest emblem, face, or both?
    2) for the face, do you like white or grey better?
    3) if anyone else happens to be interested in them, we can go in on an order together or I can share the info for where I get them made. Just let me know. Cost based on design and size - tbd. They run roughly from 60-120ish for a 12-18” sign

If I were to get something like that, I'd probably opt for this...maybe throw the chest emblem in there somehow as well.

That was actually one of the 3 I had considered originally, but I don’t identify with it as much as the others and I’m not sure how effectively they can do the gradient.

How about this over top of the chest emblem or the white head?

What about the Lion Key? That would be super cool, and a sleeper design, for sure.

I'd vote for the chest symbol, though.

Of the options presented I second the chest symbol.
I second the Voltron logo overall though. Maybe because it's consistent with the X-Men logo (I'm admittedly a little OCD about matching themes).
Third for me would be the lion key.
The Voltron head doesn't work for me.

Thanks for the input! I do like consistency too, but i also don’t want a wall of *just* name logos, so thought this might give me the chance to do something a little different. The key is a nice, subtle suggestion as well! I’ll show the final results if/when I get them done.

Gradient is possible I guess! :p  Got it made after seeing it on an old post on this thread too.

Where do you get Acrylic signs made?

    Is there an online service?

thats beautiful. Is that painted on or an acrylic part on front of the clear? How much was it if you don’t mind me asking (or you can PM me). I went back and found the FB link for the maker.

That looks suspiciously like my background... how is Dairugger? I’ve been heavily contemplating buying him. He’s pricey though. I bought Daltanios and have him in my POL at bbts but have been wanting Dairugger as he’s the chogokin I have the most fondness for.

Lol... Full disclosure, I’ve been trying to emulate the kind of lighting you use!

I like Dairugger. He’s not as solid as Golion...but he’s close.

    Pros:
    - lots of details and little gimmicks
    - mostly solid connections,
    - healthy articulation in the shoulders, biceps, hips, knees, ab crunch, waist swivel and ankles

    Cons:
    - might be a little too heavy for his own good
    - can’t get more than, maybe, 60 degrees of elbow bend
    - biggest con for me is the connection between the abdominal vehicle and the waist vehicle...it’s wobbly and makes him feel unstable to the point that it may disconnect on its own. I actually consider it a design flaw.

Edit: Just to be clear, I don’t regret the purchase one bit. As much as Dairugger is overshadowed by Golion in the Voltron world, he was always my favorite as a kid. Vehicles over cats, I guess.
