I guess TCP is the only NA retailer yet to list GX-88.

Saw the model kit at Barnes and Noble over the weekend. I was curious if glue is required? Or does it just snap together?

It just snaps together. It is Gundam-like in its construction.

I've had that Voltron MiniPla for a while now, but left it overseas last year. Finally back, I've spent the past few days putting it together one lion at a time. Some of the stickers are a bit tricky to apply on the smaller lion heads and I've tried to file down some of the flash from snipping off the plastic trees as best I can. Only issue so far is some stress marks on one of the blue lion rear ball joints cavity where the leg snaps in. I think there was some excess plastic inside the hole and maybe I used too much force snapping the leg in. Hopefully it doesn't actually crack on me. If anyone has any suggestions to prevent this from getting worse I'd appreciate it. Overall, for $60 I'm very happy with this model kit. So much detail and articulation for such a tiny toy and it has been kinda fun to put together. Black lion is all that remains and then I can form Voltron!

The stress marks are on opposite sides of each other

The way I've fixed stress marks on a few of my Transformers was with a butane lighter. I slowly bring the flame closer and closer to the plastic until it starts to heat up slightly. It will then start start to return to its original color when the flame gets close enough. Go very slowly.

You can try using a hair dryer as well...just heat the area gradually and see if the stress marks disappear.

Look like a good option. No tax and free shipping.

Have a pre-order with BBTS but they charge tax and $4 shipping. Will give it a try if I can't secure one from TCP.

I have a ? What are the taxes you guys are paying? I would like to know if amazon (us) is more or less than others. The price is $339.99 tax $22.52 is this more or less than what people are paying, and I'm from jersey so maybe that adds to it.
