The hands move more like a ball joint pivot than a rotating joint. The red and green lion heads will bend down 90 degrees however, plus, you can rotate the whole forearm if you need a different angle on the hand. The snouts also articulate downward.
Well I never saw them together where I lived so I wasn't sure. I found the 90s Voltron once at a TRU and my folks got the Megazord for me.
I know they were both in stores. I remember seeing Voltrex at Toys R Us, and thinking it was a blatant attempt to cash in on Power Rangers' popularity.
The only Voltron toy I got I actually got instead of a Power Rangers Megazord, because it was more articulated.
thx.. yes that is what I was referring to. They only have slight twist due to the neck area being blocked in and you have to rotate the forearm if you want to get the hand in a different position.
i knew voltron wasnt a ripoff back then despite being pretty young, both my older brothers grew up on g1, gi joe, thundercats and voltron so i got their hand me downs as they outgrew them, among them were the original yellow lion and black lion and i thought it was awesome that a sequel was coming out back then though i was never able to catch it while it was on tv
I specifically mean Voltrex. The last season of Voltron 3D was going to have a dinosaur Voltron. That season never happened, but the toy got released anyway.
Hm never seen or even heard of that one, but growing up I was never super into voltron until the legendary defender series
That unironically, unsarcastically, looks like a fuckin knockoff. Yikes. It's funny, cuz I dug Stealth Voltron in concept and intent, but that's just not good looking.
I honestly thought it was too, the first time I saw it. It took me a few moments to realize it was legit. Oh it was.
it looks horrible. was that from 3rd dimension or was that the proposed 3rd voltron from the original series?
More like more was catalogued from that period than of the 80s. The 90s is no more style over substance than the previous decade, we just glorify the 80s way of doing things as "right." I'm sure there's something just as tacky and cheap as that from the 80s, somewhere.
Just got my Legendary set at Target a couple days ago. I'm gonna wait until next Friday to open them while watching season 2.
