Hey everyone... so... just managed to get all of the Legendary Voltron Lions at Target. Love these lions and the combination is rock solid. Is anyone making accessories for this guy? I'd love a shield and shoulder blaster for this monster  

 

My white paint is chipping on the green lions teeth. Any idea what I could use to touch up the paint? Would nail polish work?

 

You know what he also needs: T-A-N-K-M-I-S-S-I-L-E XD

 

Managed to get the black lion through Wal-Mart pre-order/store pickup.

A little paint later and he's looking great. For the record, Testors French Blue is a perfect match to the stock paint on his face, as is Testors Guards Red and Gloss Black.

 

Finally got my shipping notice from The Chosen Prime for SOC GoLion. I'm going to pee myself and maybe cry

 

Today was a massive nostalgia trip for me. Not only did I finish the Legendary Lion set and get to put together this big mama-jama, my Legends Ginrai arrived as well. I sequestered myself in my office and relived being 8 again while my wife just shook her head and reminded me that I've spent my Transformers budget for January AND February...worth it.

 

I bought the 20th Toynami Voltron when it came out and haven't paid too much attention to a lot of the newer versions as they came out but if I had the funds to spare I would probably replace it with the SOC Voltron and get a set of the Legendary Defender lions.

Have done the chest yet? It looks so much better after you get rid of all the extra silver. I don't even know how that happened. None of the other black lion and Voltron figures have that.

EDIT: Oh, I see, around the collar. Huh, I never noticed that.

 

Ok good to know. I'm not sure what to make of all the paint mishaps, big scuffs marks on the lions and chipping in certain areas.

I'm starting to think maybe this wasn't a brand new item? Even the outer box had damage on it (not the shipping box).

I sent bbts 2 emails and no response yet...

 

Just got email from anime Island, it is shipped! The SOC Voltron!
