Man I want the Legendary lions. Voltron's cool and all, but since my only real attachement is the Netflix show, I have more love for the lions individually.
Why is it taking so long to get SOG Voltron here in the States. Im waiting for the new BU Madtoys voltrons.
Hunk: "Whu?? No, no, no. I'm pretty sure that when we did it last time I was the head." Lance: "You yelled I'm a leg!!!"
My friend is a manager at TRU, and that is how I got the overide a few weeks ago. The street date is completely bogus.
Amazon really screwed up their pre-order. It really pisses me off. I had an order in for the Black, Green and Yellow Lions. I picked up the Red and Blue at my local TRU on Saturday, but passed on the rest because I had pre ordered them. Today was the delivery date with my Prime 2-day shipping, but instead of delivering them, they send me an email saying the new expected delivery date is sometime in March. Of course my TRU store is out of them now. I ended up grabbing the Black lion from BBTS.
They really screwed the pooch on this one. Not only is the toyline hitting six months after the first season went up, but the actual release date isn't for another two months after season 2 hits. Plus, they were reading in time for the Christmas rush, but deliberately waited until afterwards, when people spend money the least. What is with toylines totally not syncing with the cartoons? It happens so often, and then the creators cry when the toy sales are less than remarkable. I don't get it. At least you got preorders in. No Canadian retailer has even preorders up.
Amazon's two day prime is such a rip-off. I have NEVER gotten a two day delivery from them in two days.
Really I do evertime. Sometimes it's in 1 day. Maybe your location? I'm in ca maybe I'm closer to a hub. You can't go wrong with bbts. They ship pretty fast but more importantly they know how to pack out items.
Yeah fuck it, I just ordered the limbs from BBTS. Anyone else who is considering better jump on it, they only have 6 sets left.
Only one of the two TRU store in town have any of the Voltron figures. I had them run a number from the deluxe lions on Sunday and they didn't have any in the back. The other store in town has had them for 2 weeks. I wonder if they won't be available in every store. I won't be shipping my POL with the Black lion until next week, so I guess I'll just have to appreciate the Red and Blue lions sitting on my desk alone. This is the first time Amazon has really let me down. I've been watching a lot of shows on their streaming service, so I guess I'm still getting my Moneys worth. If they oversold the Voltron stuff, or it didn't show when they thought it would, they shouldn't have waited until the delivery date to acknowledge the problem.
Most targets in my area got 4 blk lions and 2 of each limb, they are sitting in the back until the store does their reset.
I don't deal with BBTS anymore. I used to order from them a lot and then the last time it was for a Transformers Generations toy for my son. It broke immediately. I contacted BBTS and then claimed it was my fault for letting a child play with it. I reminded them that it was T-O-Y and the Hasbro box clearly says for ages 8+. Their counter was that the box's age advisory was irrelevant because they only sell adult collectibles at BBTS so I should have treated it as such regardless of what Hasbro claimed. My mind kind of exploded at that point and so it was the last time I dealt with them.
