I actually performed a slight modification on my Legendary Yellow Lion- I took the sliding panel off it's back, flipped it around so the silver parts face the lion's tail, re-screwed it on, and now in robot mode the Yellow Leg looks proportionally better (it doesn't stick out towards the bottom as drastically as it did) + you can actually see the yellow lion's face. Maybe I was transforming it wrong before, but frankly every time I did it, the yellow foot always ended up looking like an overly-enlarged foot, like it was deformed compared to the other limbs- I couldn't really see the yellow lion's face- it was a tad bothersome. I'll post picks when my Ipad's charged again- I pretty much just use it take pictures lol...
Here's how it looks in lion mode now- the panel can still slide and tilt up or down smoothly, so it doesn't harm anything to do this- but you can tilt the panel upwards so it's like a booster pack. ^_^ I think Voltron's legs look better this way + you can see all the lion faces now- it's more balanced I think.
:/ Looks pretty bad in lion mode, though. How does it look slid forward like it is in leg mode on the lion?
Well you can actually put the panel down, so it doesn't have to be stuck upwards like that- you can move it forward or backward.
Sorry for that and it's corrected. I just figured it was since it was next to soc and it looked likes KOB ver2
Saw LD lions today at target. They didn't have to many. Only 4-5 black lions a 2 of each limb lions. Only saw a handful of the cheaper versions as well as the 14". Wondering if they were selling well or if they didn't order too many.
Nice, you confirmed an idea I was going to try when I get one. I like the modded look much better in lion and leg mode. Thanks for the pics!
