I can't wait to see the rest of these Voltron Legendary Defender lions finished. Are they going to transform and combine?

    Wow!! That's nuts.

Man.. If only Lego had a voltron license.

Yeah. I'd buy it. Len's work is amazing. I wonder if it's transformable? :D  I would LOVE to see a combined mode :D

I went ahead and got a refund for my pre-order. I was coming up on PayPal's 6-month statue of limitations and had to request a refund via opening a dispute (the vendor wasn't replying to any of my e-mails over the last month). I'm not having much faith anymore on this release because of the upcoming so-called "Ultimate" Voltron by Toynami. I can't see WEP allowing both to sell at the same time as the MT version (~$270 and solid engineering) would probably cannibalize sales from the Toynami one ($400 and the usual Toynami quality). All this being said, I am perfectly happy with my original MT-01.

bandai would like make their own right? not just say buy the retooled "was about to become official" inifinity gokin one right? i do think the new shows' popularity made bandai pursue the license of the old stuff. after all...look at the picture, bottom left. this is a voltron...NOT a go lion. if mad toys didn't haave an iron grip on the license....they jsut got out bid. wonder why they've been quiet for months.

I can't imagine them buying an existing mold and trying to pass it off as a Soul of Chogokin release. It's their adult collector flagship brand and people are only getting MORE picky, not less. Besides, Bandai are going to have different priorities on gimmicks and sculpting choices than Mad Toys did.

A SoC Golion? Is this going to be a 6 inch fully posseable figure or just another big sized combinder bot?
