Seriously, for being a MP, he seems to lack lots of details like any other MPs :(

QC means "Quality Control". Some of us are wary of Toynami's products due to the bad QC on its valks - particularly the earlier batches.

You know, in this case I like the original better. The new one looks too skinny.

    I agree 100%.

With a Masterpiece edition, they should have completely went nuts with the details and teched it out completely. Seems like a waste of a new mold to be so close to the original with just a bit more articulation.

Well for a MP I think it looks good. I really don't care if this Voltron figure is not full of details as long it looks awesome in a shelf. :thumbs2:
But of course this is only my opinion. :D

It's by Toynami right??? Their Robotech line has great ideas, but horribly executed... I've been wanting their Masterpiece Alpha Fighters, but man, the QC problems I've heard just scare me...

And Masterpiece Voltron looks so... Thin...

Other than the head, thighs, and knees...he's got nothing new on the original, plus he doesn't have all the little accessories the original has. Screw it. $150.00 ain't worth it.

What dose the Volumes look like with the Voltron set? Do they look like what the Robotech masterpiece Volumes look like??

looks nice, but I'll stick with the Trendmasters version of the original that I got for under $25.00. If it was $50 - $70 maybe, but for $150.00 Hell No!

This will give you an idea

The inner boxes will fit nicely in a Robotech armor box, but not wide enough for the Robotech figs. It'll still fit though

I like it but $150 is too much to pay for something that's not whole lot better than the original. I'll probably check out the price for loose original or wait for someone to done playing with his MP Voltron and put it on Ebay.

Actually, it's waaayyyy better than the original. It's like comparing G1 Prime with MP Prime. The original will alyways win with nostalgia, but it's a huge improvement from the old design. He looks alot bigger in person and he's so shiny. He's also a little heavier than MP Prime, who's price is about the same now.
MP Voltron may inflate just like the other MPs did.

I also thought $150ish was too much, but as soon as I opened him that all went away.
Im one of those who cant stand paying over $100 for a fig.

I am looking at MP Voltron right now on ebay and want to get it. So if it was worth it in your opinion I will get it if not then I wont.
