Cutthroat himself is hugely a retool and partially remold of Swoop. It will be easy to have the 3 of them from the same design.

 

In hand and properly transformed I feel Volcanicus looks way better than I anticipated, so I definitely can’t wait to add the final members!

 

The more often I see it, the more I wish that attachable fist pieces for Dinobots were painted and molded in this metallic gray and gold rest of their bodies are. This way they'd be much better matched in color for filling the torso gap AND you could attach them as a leg extender to Grimlock's dino mode for a better proportioned look. This would solve pretty much all complaints I have with this combiner team.

The same person who did this also made a skirt/waist filler where two slash'es where made as a skirt piece:




I'm tempted to buy 3 slashes to do this and that one mod that also used a slash as a backpack

 

Can someone tell me what sword this is. Looks like a Beast Hunters sword but custom painted or ??.

 

I don't own the sword - does it come in two pieces? The black looks like the BH Arcee version, but the red looks like the UW Grand Scourge sword/cleaver. If you can take it apart, it might be a part swap - otherwise it's probably a custom job.

 

That looks like the SDCC Combiner Hunters Arcee sword, though it’s more red then pink.

The original sword came with Beast Hunters Beast Hunter Optimus Prime(hunter of Beasts). It was re-used for obviously with Arcee, and UW Grand Scourge.

I ordered a Grimlock off of Amazon. Super excited to use volcanicus' torso mode.

 

The sword that comes with ehobby grand scourge works too.

So there is a fan mode that uses two Slash as thug fillers and one that uses two Slash as torso fillers. Hasbro is going to sell lots of Slash.

 

My only problem here is that I cannot unsee Slag humping his leg!

 

I really don't like having to use hands to fill out the combiner torso mode. It just looks too weird to me.

It's odd that a Dinobot combiner looks anorexic unless you give him a(nother) hand or two. I really hope 3Ps are working on better looking add-ons to fix that.

I like how PE is taking it for sure. Just don't like how Slug hits Grimlock's tail as a leg. I may knock out the pins to the tail pieces and take them off so Volcanicus can stand up straight.
