    This thread is not needed bud. Weaving will NEVER voice Megatron again. He said Megatron had no character and to voice him was beneath him. So Bay said ok and moved on from Weaving.

    I'd be very surprised if it's not Frank Walker. Even if it turns out this Megatron is a different entity to Galvatron, it would make sense for them to have a similar voice.

    Frank Welker seems like the most logical choice. His voice acting is well known enough among the sort of people that would buy a ticket for a Transformers movie that his voice could get you some nostalgia draw with the trailers. Plus an experienced voice actor so if they need Megatron and Galvatron to sound kind of alike but also a bit different then a trained voice actor is the way to go.

    The mention of Shia made me think of the FB and Twitter pages with people complaining that Sam and Mikaela aren't coming back. Thought it's quite amusing that some of the 'general public' have almost the polar opposite view to the 'fans' about who the movies are really about lol

    Right? Every time I see someone say something along the lines of "it ain't the same without Shia" I just wanna scream at them "NO SHIT, IT'S BETTER!"

    The movies are for fans and the general public alike.

    Personally, I prefer my Transformers WITH a Buster/Spike/Sam Witwicky and Shia served the role SUPERLATIVELY. I could relate to him, basically wanted to BE him, and never doubted for a second that he was actually talking to living Transformers in the real world.

    Hugo Weaving hates most, if not, all his movies, I think he's said he hasn't watched most of them.
    He's very high and mighty.
