I would switch Overlord and Tarn's VA's. Keith David's Young Justice Mongrel was perfect Overlord. Tarn seems to me like in his mind, he is doing noble work and has a regal air about him. Kaye's Traize from Gundam Wing is the perfect example to me.

Also, for Tailgate I could see Patton Oswald for him.

I just imagined Swerve giving the "Of course I was the ball" line from Monsters Inc. It worked far too well.

 

I was reading through Shadowplay earlier, and as soon as I reached the scene where Orion Pax and Ratchet meet with the (at the time) unnamed Senator, I instantly heard Leonard Nimoy (as old Spock from the 2009 Star Trek film) in my head as Shockwave (pre Empurata, of course.) I don't know why, but it just stuck.

Oh, and put me in the Animated Ratchet camp. It just suits this version of the character better.

I also agree for Billy Crystal as Swerve, and Tom Hardy's Bane as Tarn. They just fit so perfectly.

 

I can't help but to read the Senator as Patrick Stewart because of the Academy that is balantly X-men inspired  

Also since Shadowplay I can't help but to read Chromedome as Simon Pregg from Hot Fuzz.
