I think a lot of people have their ideas as to which known actors would be really awesome for characters in a Transformers movie. Here are some that I'd love to see; some are my idea, others have been mentioned by others before.

Christopher Lloyd as Wheeljack (Mad scientist, and Lloyd has a cool voice)

Peter Weller as Prowl (I would just love for Prowl to have RoboCop's voice; it's a really distinctive and appropriate sound)

Jeff Bridges as Beachcomber (a la The Dude, man)

R. Lee Ermey as Hound (not in his drill instructor character, in Hound's; he has a voice that fits Hound as long as he doesn't go psycho)

Robert Loggia as Kup (drink your goddamned orange juice, kid)

Tom Selleck as Hot Rod (especially if he's the ferrari altmode)

Ian McKellan as Alpha Trion (gandalf the grey)

James Earl Jones as Omega Supreme (booming mega voice)

Lance Henriksen as Skywarp (plays a heck of a thug, cool voice)

Steve Buscemi as Swindle (perfect degree of weasly-ness)



I know all but two are Autobots, but those are the ones with character development to draw from. Ideas?

I'd love to see Ed O'Neill as Prowl.

 

Corey Burton as Shockwave. No one else. Maybe Alan Rickman, and if he were alive, Tony Jay.

Christopher Lloyd sounds good as Wheeljack. He might also make a nice Ratchet.
R. Lee Ermey as Kup. It would just be perfect.

 

Tom Bergeron as Wheeljack or some other Autobot/Decepticon. Either way I think it would still be awesome.

HOLY HELL, those two would be insanely awesome, I didn't even think of Buscemi for that! Lloyd as WJ is just the most perfect of pairings!

Now for R. Lee Ermey, I'd love for him to either be Kup or Onslaught (in the Drill Instructor voice).

I'd also love to get 2 Cholo style TFs (one an Impala, one a Pickup truck; hmm...maybe a movie styled version of the Battlechargers [Los Battlechargers]) voiced by George Lopez and Danny Trejo.

Well, we've already had Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron, I wouldn't mind hearing him again as the new Megatron.

I'd have to say R. Lee Ermey as Kup. Heck they are pretty much alike when the comic books decided to toughen up Kup. Plus it would be fun to watch Kup go all Full Metal Jacket on another Autobot. Now if they would just have an old Willys Jeep as his alt mode it would be perfect.

I'd also like to see them pick up a voice actor with a wide range like Billy West. Since robot time will always have some sort of limits a voice actor who can cram lots of character in very quickly would be nice.

Kind of an odd choice but I'd like Vinnie Jones as Thundercracker. The accent would make him a bit different than the other Seekers and the guy is just so great in the brutish thug roles.
