My LE copy arrived from Target today. My first impression is that it’s much bigger than I anticipated! I can’t wait to look through it thoroughly.

Any chance of a description of what's on Page 44?

”Concept art, Transformers 15th Anniversary Box Set (unproduced) | Doug Hart”

There is a quote from the artist below that.

I didn't have it and your reply in the same place at the same time, but my impression was that it was very ambitious but also very early.

Mine shipped from amazon. I didn’t even know about this book until about 5 days ago thanks to @chchchch. But I’ll have the LE to thumb through in about 9 days. :)

It dropped in price the same day it shipped to me : D

now time to contact AM and pretend to be outraged. Oh the things I do for money : /

*edit: or at least it WAS cheaper just an hour ago. It dropped to $56.90. I was going to ask for a small refund because it changed the same day it shipped to me, but it's back up to $69.99 again. Strange. Oh well.

Gotta be honest - I was sort of disappointed by the book. I'm not trying to be mean. I know a lot of hard work went into it. I just felt like I have seen a lot of the artwork before. For example, the first section of the book covered Transformers packaging. If you already got Transformers Legacy, you already have the G1 artwork - yet they devote several pages to random G1 characters (but not all of them). I wish those pages were used for something else (but I totally get why they did what they did). There was some new stuff in the book, but I guess that I thought there would be a ton more that I haven't seen before. Maybe I put expectations on the book that I shouldn't have. I kinda regret the purchase. However, I appreciate the hard work and dedication that went into making the book though. Plus, I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me and will be happy with it.

It could still happen. Maybe an exclusive for a BM Anniversary.

I do not see that happening too be honest, I mean we'd be lucky if 5 beast wars figures were released at the mainline

It's money for jam for Hasbro. The mold has already been used twice before.

Release it as a Generations Selects figure through Pulse or something.

By the way, do you have a copy of the book? If so, any chance of a pic of Page 44?

Got mine today. It’s a lot bigger than I was expecting. Haven’t had time to go page by page yet but a quick flip though was impressive.

page 44 isn't anything to write about, it's a rough image like pre sketching rough, where it's just the basic outlines to get an idea of where stuff would go. sort of like the very beginning of an image, it's like an after thought put in the book to pad out the pages, I mean even the commentary was more about the packaging art on the main beast wars toys, Only guys who can tell who is who is Optimus and Megatron...Both versions of them.
if you wanna see it in better quality buy the book

    Muchly appreciated!

I don't think it's hit stores Down Under yet, so was keen for a cheeky peek.

    It's a delicious "What if..."

Got the limited edition book in today, the Amazon deliverer didn't even bother to ring the doorbell and just left it in front of the neighbor's door - luckily my neighbor was kind enough to get it for me before someone else came by and grabbed it! Anyways upon opening it I was surprised to find that I got the rare "upside down lenticular cover variant", lol
