Awesome news! Does anybody else remember the art book that was supposed to come out in 2009 covering tf07 and rotf? It was canceled and I was so bummed about it. Simon Furman was writing it, too. The movies aren't very good but the art and designs have been amazing.

Sounds interesting and I will love to read this,but I\'ll just wait and see if the local library(Cleveland Ohio) gets it,which it likely will since it has ton of other Transformers stuff.

 

Even if this stuff isn’t in the book, that sounds super interesting. Hope he does the same panel at TFNation this year!

This kind of book is what I’m most interested in transformers for, really. I mean, I like the toys (chug and 3p) a fair bit, but the older art in particular is totally my poison.

 

I want this book this is what ive been waiting for!!

 

If this is anywhere near as good as the Dungeons and Dragons Visual History that was just released, I really can't wait!

Yep! I was very excited for that one 10 years ago but it never materialized. I hope this one has better luck of actually being a thing. I especially want to see concept art from rotf as it had the most varied designs and I think the most concept art overall.

 

A different publisher that one, which again is different from the DK Visual Histories.

Awesome, but I really want to actually SEE this book before I preorder. I'll probably end up getting the deluxe edition, but I need to see all the extra stuff before I make a decision:

 

I think I'm gonna splurge to get the limited edition. I really wanna see a front cover but I'm getting it at Amazon when i buy it. As of now on Amazon website still no pictures of the book. I'm sure around late summer very early fall i think that's when it might be shown. I can't wait to see what is all going to be in the book.

 

In case anyone hasn't yet noticed and still wants to preorder, the price of the limited edition versions have dropped even further to about $63.65 at Amazon and Target in the US, down from the original $100. Only about $14 over the standard edition price. $69.99 at Barnes & Noble.

 

That's awesome news but does this book actually exist? I still see no evidence to support it being a real thing that exists  

 

I still have the standard edition locked at $37.94 on Amazon. Regular price is $49.99. I don’t need the deluxe.
