Kingstowne TRU has First Edition Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Starscream. TRU currently has a promo for old Deluxes (DOTM and TFP:RiD) of 2 for $10. I scanned the FE ones and they are part of it. So First Edition Transformers for 5 bucks each! Couple with the Groupons (I posted them at the deals thread) they droup down to 2 bucks and change each!

There's also a TRU 20% off coupon at the deals thread, not sure if it stack with this or not

 

At least 1 Croc out and Vertebreak at Greenbriar Target. Saw I think 1 Blitzwing, 1 Sandstorm, 1 Springer, 2 each Soundblaster and Blaster. Bunch of Grimwing and Skylynx.

Anyone see FE Cliffjumper at the local TRU's?

Was in Charlottesville yesterday for a Pearl Jam show, and while I was there, I managed to snag the only FE Cliffjumper from the TRU there. Also snagged a FE Bumblebee for Toys for Tots. At $5 each, you can't beat that. Despite me ridding the shelf of a Bumblebee, lots of 'Bees remain (and 2 FE Starscreams, I believe).

 

You've made both me and my wife jealous. I'm pretty sure she'd leave me for Eddie Vedder.

 

TRU Baileys has the same stuff as usual. I am selling an MP Soundwave in case anyone is interested. Since you guys are in the area, I am willing to sell it at cost of what I paid. Let me know, shoot me a PM.

Nothing super new TF-wise, but I found Spider Bytez and the smaller Battle Shell Turtles at Chesterfield TRU tonight.

 

Has anyone seen any Rescue Bots Energize Heatwave and Chase? I want to pick those up for my son. Don't think they made a Hoist or Medix for that subline yet though. Need those two too.

 

What happen to the pile of Metroplex at Norfolk Costco? I was there this past weekend and didn't see any. Are they sold out already?

 

The pile at Mt. Vernon disappeared too, I'm assuming they sold out as the other toys that on display during the same time are still there.

 

Yeah, its probly a mix of parents seeing a really good deal and people who got one at TRU for $130 buying them to return them to TRU with their old receipts.

Does Costco normally re-stock their xmas toys when they sell out?

 

I may have mentioned this before, but the rumor is that Walmart will have Metroplex for $60 on BF. I think I mentioned this at our last meetup.

If you have the original figures, put those in a safe deposit box for your son's college. The going rate on those is amazing.

 

Was just at sterling tru and they had a ton of stuff that I hadn't seen before.

They had some first edition stuff. I know I saw bee and scream.

They had a bunch of beast hunters stuff. Sorry I'm not knowledgeable in that line and can't keep up to date with the differences in all the prime lines but I saw a bunch of hoists, trailcutters, one smokescreen, shock waves, predacons (predaking, grimwing, lazersomething). Some of the deluxe ops (the one from season 3 and the green one with the shoulder cannons) and bee.

From generations or FOC I saw Orion, megaton, soundblasters, thundercrackers, something called optimus Maximus which looked like a combiner or an exosuit.

Ummm, platinum um, platinum grim vs bruticus, like 6 mp acidstorms.

Sorry for the crappy descriptions. I only collect MP and some 3P so I just don't know any other lines. : ( maybe next time I'll just take a bunch of pics.

The Generations comic figures have FINALLY started showing up in Christiansburg. I only found Bumblebee and Hoist, though. Both were at K-Mart. This is why I pre-order things online...

 

I saw the news post on the upcoming wave of Generations figs (Skids, Waspinator, etc) and I'm not sure I like the coloration of them. Will these get a Takara release as well in metallic colors? I don't recall seeing that posted.
