False alarm! Just had my Override order canceled. No stock available was the reason given. I love how Walmart has no idea of what is available in their inventory.

 

Walmart website is confusing, How do I make a order to pickup Scourge at a store? Tired of waiting for Burke to get him so ill try this, but i doubt itll actually work due to Walmarts “great” handling of orders…  

 

I might’ve just gotten lucky, but here’s some proof that it is possible.

 

Scourge is showing up as gone for me. I doubt there were any to begin with TBF…

 

I'm exhausted running to these stores with no changes.

 

Same. Just got back from Dulles Landing Walmart. Nada.

 

So I accidentally didn't uncheck the "substitutions" box so my hauler and croc master pickup order was fulfilled and when they brought it to the car it was two other items. I told the guy I didn't want substitutions and he took it back and said he'd cancel it. Then 5 mins later I got a email they were "picked up"

They didn't tell me anything was substituted till he walked up to the car. If that happens to anyone else I would say just take the sub items and return them later, I dread calling them and trying to explain and having them believe me.

 

This is the path of wisdom. For real, the stress ain't worth it.

Oh no! I would be ready to lose it. We will see what I get - if anything - when I pick up my order for Override. I'm with you about the returns, though. I'd just park, walk inside, and return it. Easier than explaining to the poor bastard they have bringing out curbside orders.

 

Yeah, what I think happened was he hit "picked up" and then went to hand it to me and thats when I said "hey this isn't my stuff", if I had any idea that would have happened I would have just taken the items.

Anywho, if it isn't cancelled I'll just call the 800# I'm sure those people will fix it. I did immediately re-order the two items without substitutions so they'll at least see that.

 

Found one Scourge at the Midlothian Walmart. It was sitting on a shrink wrapped pallet loose from the shipping box by the automotive section. Lucky I needed to pick up dog food!

 

In unrelated news, Gainesville Target has 4 CC packs, 3 raw chickens, and a single Red Cog.
Left them all there because of how ungodly broke I am…

 

Scourge listed as "preparing for shipment." Awesome. Maybe I will indeed get him by Saturday.

Got the delay notice for Override a while ago. New date is now 10/11 per the update email from Walmart, but the order under "order history" is still listed for tomorrow, 8/12.

Walmart is dreadfully behind on the online retail game. You woulda thunk they - of all retailers - would have a grasp. Worst case, I can circle around NoVA when I visit my parents in a few weeks. Probably easier than navigating NYC (Walmart is not legally allowed to exist in the city limits, so getting to Jersey or Long Island is a PAIN).

 

oh man, I was just there! But I was only after Cosmos so no worries.

Midlo Walmart I saw had a couple Blurrs, a Road Rocket, and three each of Hauler and Overide:




Forest Hill Walmart had two each of Blurr/Road Rocket, but they were way back by the MOTU stuff, nowhere near the TFs.


Hull St Walmarts we’re both busts, but the Hull St. Target has four Red Cogs, two Motormasters and two SS Ironhide, plus 3 more Hammond T-Rex.

 

It was Laser Optimus Prime, lol. I appreciated the discount, but returned it.

 

Parham Walmart has at least one case (maybe two) of GI Joe figures, #35-37 (Spirit, Storm Shadow, and a Cobra Trooper).

Burke Walmart was restocking their toy aisle, but no Velocitron. They did have SS Ironhide/Arcee however.

 

Once again nothing at Sterling Walmart, Target, and Dulles Target.

 

So my second order of the same items where I specifically looked for and unchecked the "substitutions" box, they also substituted items.
