Walmart in Short Pump had the tape sets on clearance for $11, they had 4 of one and 1 of the other, I bought the set to have extras. The other 3 are still there, but I can't remember which of the two it was now.

 

Grabbed a Rung and a Singe at Reston Target. There's at least one more Rung and 2-ish more Singe in the... big pile of Battlemasters. And a few Smashdowns and Pteraxadons, is anyone's looking. They also have a couple Cyberverse one step Soundwaves, which I haven't seen before, and one Crosshairs.

 

Fair Oaks FYE has a Selects Smokescreen

Fair Oaks Target has Wave 5 Battlemasters, Apeface, Crosshairs, and a bunch of repacked earlier wave figures.

 

Mosaic Target has one Rung, three Spinisters, one Crosshairs, and one Cyberverse Deluxe Hot Rod.

Burke Target had at least one Rung and one Singe. My wife picked them up for me, so I have no idea what else might be there.

Anybody wind up with an extra Siege Jetfire or Redwing for Xmas? I still have an extra TR Trypticon.

 

Found a single Rung at Gainesville Target but no Singe. Bought Rung. Nothing else of note, lots of other lines on clearance.

Fairfax / Jermantown Rd Walmart had some of the new-ish Cyberverse Deluxes last night (stealth Hot Rod, hovercar Bumblebee, hovertank Megatron, chestburster Soundwave).

...The new H Mart nearby also has some random Tobot figures for like $65-75.

 

I really needed a laugh. Those Duplo level barely transforming toys for those prices. I wonder what they are on to slip the decimal point to the right like that.

Both of the Manassas Walmarts and the one in Haymarket have the new Cyberverse deluxe waves in ample numbers. Not much else. All three look like they were looted. I did find a lone G1 reissue Optimus prime (complete) for $13 at the Manassas Mall Walmart; bought it just because. Might try my hand at repainting him into Nemesis Prime.

 

did a little hunting while out riding around in this awesome weather, don't remember what all was at every store, but I did notice that some walmarts have g1 cassette's on clearance for $11, and every target I went to had the seige seeker 3 packs on clearance for $55. Figure'd I'd share that info for anyone still looking and wants a better deal.

Mostly the regular stuff everywhere I stopped, although the First Colonial target did have an ss38 optimus, hadn't seen one for sale in a while.

Ended up coming home with singe and rung from the target on First Colonial at the beach, and Ravage/Rumble from the walmart on Phoenix Dr.

Sadly, still no Astrotrain to be found yet.

 

Just checked the Short Pump Target. The Spinister was still in the NECA section. I returned him to his rightful home on a WFC Siege Deluxe peg in the TF section. There was also a Singe and a bunch of Pteraxodons.

 

Supposedly some Walmarts have the new Astrotrain reissue in, I went to Sheila lane and they didn't have it on the shelf and there were no pallets laying around. At $50 it will stick around a while, I'm sure.

They did have a bunch of the G1 tapes, not marked on sale but I didn't scan them as I already have extras and I had my toddler in tow.

They did have the new Funko Rick and Morty in spacesuits action figures (not pops!) in stock in the movie section. Walmart version is sparkly paint. I bought one set, they had one Rick and two Mortys left. Nothing else newish that I saw, nothing good in clearance.

 

Doing a little sleuthing around the NoVA Walmarts for G1 Astrotrain. Brickseek and the inventory that shows on the website are completely bogus. The stores that show stock only show 1 left. Basically that means they do not have any but they are expecting them sometime in the next 2 weeks. Save your gas and time as they are not in the stores yet. And they are not available for sale on the website; apparently this will be a in store purchase only. Let the blood bath begin.

Update:

Just had a very interesting conversation with one of the local Walmart managers (just happen to answer the phone). Dumfries, Haymarket, and Manassas Liberia did get stock on their trucks last night. The system also shows they all were sold before the stores opened using employee discount codes. So basically the night stock crew purchased them all before they hit the floor. She is looking into it at her store. The other fun fact that came out of the call is they are a once and done item. What ever the stores get for an allotment is all they are going to get. So those three stores have already had there shipment and they will not get anymore. It is clearly coded in their hand held devices as such. They are also not coded to be available for order on the website. This is not a very smart choice made by Walmart and is not going to result in any kind of positive feed back from customers. They are trying to promote themselves as the go to place for toys after Toys'R'Us bit the dust. Apparently not.

 

All the previous G1 reissues showed that on the website initially, this one will likely be both in stores and online
