Needed some Arby’s near the Mosaic, so I stopped by that Target, and the TF section was ransacked... had to dig through everything that fell off pegs... found the Ironhide I wanted.
Nothing really left there when I rolled out... a Siege Prowl and 2 Chromias?

BTW, that King’s Hawaiian sweet and spicy sandwich hit the spot. Other than the Nats wasting Max’s effort, not a bad Opening Day.

 

Looks like the First Colonial Walmart had the EndGame figures out. Last night they had 5 in stock and today they have none. So, I guess they are starting to show up, keep an eye out.

I stopped watching Baseball when my favorite player retired. Kirby Puckett (I'm from Minnesota). Stopped watching football when my favorite player retired. Lawrence Taylor (I liked playing with him in Tecmo (Super) Bowl). My brother is a super fan and ruined sports for me. If I ever watch another ESPN sports center I'll kill someone, probably whoever put it on.

 

Nothing like DC summertime baseball. The humidity, the stank, the dirt, the chirping dusk crickets, the DMV haze, a brew, a car radio on full blast with the play by play, and the batting cages. This coming from a Cali transplant in 97. An A’s fan for life... but that Nats ballpark has a ton of charm.

Aren’t we all transplants? I adopted the expos for being lovable losers and cheered when Harp left town. He has skill, just too high maintenance. Baseball is a lifestyle... it’s long term planning and execution. It’s getting dirty to get ahead. It’s Nolan, Rickey, Babe... come back to the park, man.
