Damnit, Brickseek tricked me. I checked the walmart Siege Sku again, and the top result showed like 6 in stock, so I rushed on over as soon as I can via bus, only to realize that this one was sold out, and thus BUMPED DOWN THE LIST.

I swear I've had the worst luck with this stuff lately.

 

Winchester Walmart West now has zero SS-38 Optimus Primes and 7 Rampages. Guess a scalper lurks here or in my area.

 

Walmart on Walmart Way in Midlothian had 3 Studio Series Rampage figures, 2 Studio Series Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime figures, 2 SIEGE Sixgun and one SIEGE Chromia. Picked up one Optimus, one Rampage, and one Sixgun.

 

I was off yestersay, and when i drove there around noon there were no primes

 

That lines up pretty tight with my report of there being zero of them after the scalper swooped in.

 

Parham Rd Walmart:

4 each of SS/Bumblebee Optimus Prime and SS Rampage

2 each of Siege Starscream and Soundwave

No Siege Deluxes. A raft of SS Deluxe shelfwarmers.

 

I checked that out this morning. There was one SS38 prime left....loose, in an open box without a weapon. Rampage was still there and looked fine. I ended up finding SS38 8n a sealed box with all accessories at Forest Hill Ave Walmart.

Sigh... The Cogman at Fair lakes walmart is the TLK version of the toy. It looks like someone did a swap. It also looks like someone ripped the headmaster out of the package. The hell is going on around here?

Almost all of that stuff looks like it's either a return or that someone is ripping parts out of the package.

Why would someone exchange the superior TLK figure for the SS figure?

Years ago I would see this stuff pretty much only at Reston Target.
Then about 3-4 years ago I started noticing bad returns in the haymarket/Gainesville area (that hasn't really changed).
Now I'm starting to see that creep into the fair lakes Walmart. I mean, it was never great with getting items in anyway, but now it's a complete travesty.

The repacks aren't even good. It almost looks like someone is trying to make the return look completely terrible in the hopes that it won't be put back on the shelf.

 

Picked up 3 sets of battle masters (Aimless / Pteraxadon) from the Target West store in Manassas. One for my self and two to share with locals.

The SS version is far better than the previous version. I just picked him up today in Woodbridge

 

Agree to disagree. I can't stand all the black on that SS version.

And even so. It doesn't excuse someone buying the SS version and doing a swap for the TLK version. Shit thing to do.

That’s why people need to stop sharing pictures of it and giving people the idea. All it does is show these asshats that it’s easy to do and that the stores clearly do not care. It’s no coincidence that it’s happening more and more.

Also, there is no black on SS Cogman other than the trim around the windows
