Okay, G1 Cyclonus has this weird thing where the fins on his arms, the side ones on the plane itself can rotate round, for no obvious reason what.so.ever.

Does anyone know the purpose of this transformation?

Also, I talk about him and explain that his alt mode is amazing, perfect, epic...the bot mode....not so much.

Maybe the fin rotation is for robot mode? The alt mode is pure sex though, love it.

 

I thought that but then he has random bits sticking out of his forearms.

It's possible as the back fins do sometimes get in the way of the actual wings during transformation.

Oh well.
