I'm sorry if this is old news, but TFW2005 sponsor Kapowtoys now has a youtube channel with video reviews for Battleblade Bumblebee and Powercore combiners Bombshock. On top of that they have reviews of War for Cybertron Prime and takara animated Blackout.

Hope you find them interesting, I do now there is more cool stuff to come.

His top half (torso) seems to be a scaled-down version of the Human Alliance Bumblebee, while keeping most of the deluxe class features in the automorph portion of his legs.

Best of both worlds it seems.

Somehow, though, the result seems to make him look a little top-heavy IMO, sorta ape-ish. Movie Bee tends to look sleeker in bot mode than most of the other Movieverse TF's who appear more burly. This version makes him look burly.

For the price range, even for aesthetics, I think I still prefer the old sculpt better. And for ultimate definitive Bee sculpts, I'm still partial to the complete HA Bee mold as being the best.

I actually like the transforming arm cannon. That's something I've been wanting in a movie Bee figure from the start.

I really kind of regret buying the HA figure. The only real reason I did get that dumb thing was to have a more movie accurate Bee. If I had known about this, I'd have waited.
And that said, I actually wonder if I should wait for the third movie line and buy the retool that they'll probably do of this figure with the updated alt-mode details ?

Looks like I'm buying another bee. I knew he was different, but this is better than expected. I don't care much for the blade, but the Transforming arm cannon and battle mask have sold me on this guy.

That looks really nice. Cool that his axe is the same design as the one he uses in the ROTF videogame.

I agree with you about the new 'Bee being top heavy. In a short time perhaps, the hip joints will become loose under the weight of the upper body halve.. Still, we won't know until someone buys it and tells us about it.

As for the sleek look, this 'Bee is sleek enough IMO, just that the side arm and hip 'armour' are too thick (sidearms) and jut out too much.

You prefer the older mold, but actually both molds are equally good. The new Bee's upper front body halve may not collapse as well as the old Bee's, but the New Bee's 'nipple parts' are movie-accurate. :lol

Plus, this Deluxe Bee has a good decent battle mask, much better than the old Premium BB's mask IMO.

It's a neat feature, but the colours make it dull, and even if you try to squeeze the gun properly into the arm, there'll still be gaps so it ruins the overall look IMO..

Since there's a 3rd movie and likely the newer TF molds could change, I believe it's best to wait and see what the later molds will look like, then see which (Bee) mold is the best. As for the HA BB, the moment I looked at it I disliked it. :p

One thing's for sure right now, the latest Bee mold is the most movie-accurate one.

I am pretty sure his legs are miss transformed in this review, those panels on the back of his thighs i believe are supposed to be on the front....which i guess would make it even more movie accurate...but not sure if i want to get him...i still want to pick up an HA BB to go with my HA Barricade, but just haven't been convinced yet to spend the $30 (OR the $50 if you're at TRU in Canada),

Great review. Wish he showed the transformation, though. The figure looks fantastic though, maybe even better than the HA version.
