Saw this in Twitter and was surprised no one has mentioned it here so far

 

So it begins...

I'm ready! Bring her to the states!

 

I don't really know if I'll get her... I think I'm going to save my money for Computron instead.


This must be the same guy who did the photo shoot for G2 Menasor. The arms are mistransformed, and this shot really makes the Combiner look like a pathetic joke.

 

Sold out already too dang, although I guess it was sold back in November according to the info.

 

Debating on whether or not to get this set.

Wow. The colors look a LOT better than before...

 

It's amazing how much better she looks just by toning down the brightness of the colors.

 

How in the fuck is that thing even standing? lol

 

The arms are hilarious. I'm probably holding out on this one for a bit. I love aggressive paint schemes though.

 

So they changed the colours a bit then? So instead of being bright green it's now vomit green?

Yup... nope.

 

I want to like it, I really do. But I just can't bring myself to buy it. Good luck everyone else.

 

Waiting to see if these ladies show up in Unite Warriors.

 

I know the first thing I'm doing is flipping the arms and legs. Those hands are cool but they look tiny on the bulkier arms. Thankfully that's considered an official configuration so it's easier to justify on the shelf.

I love variety in alt modes, but the only drawback of CW is the jets and cars don't make for good proportions. Galvatronus gets it right by having the cars on the bottom.

 

That's a mint green you pessimistic punk. Let me guess, "shit brown" is a favorite combo of words for you too.

all bashing the pessimism aside, I can't bring myself to like it. The bodies simply aren't feminine enough for me to accept them as females. Slim those waists and narrow those shoulders then we'll talk. Reminds me of Jin's Arcee made from a Sideswipe with tits slapped on

 

Even with the neon blue becoming a weird sea-green, those colors are STILL off-putting. Yeah, thanks but no thanks.

 

Cannot wait til these drop....

 

i like the head sculpt and the new hands... thats about it. Given what we've seen on display at conventions i'd guess the toned-down teal is more the result of poor photo processing then reality.

The seafoam green somehow seems perfectly appropriate for Transformers.

 

All I know for sure is that those are some really small hands.  

 

So these are re-paints and re-molds right? Did they only get new head-sculpts, or are there other differences? Did even little Groove get a new face?

The new Victorion hands and feet look interesting, as does the gestalt head and the combining sword, but those new features aren't enough to sway me. It's not speaking "fem-bot" enough to me I guess, and the color-scheme, though unified, is somewhat obnoxious.

And Hasbro claims that we fans created this? Hmm...That makes me wonder if that is the best we fans could agree upon, or if the whole "voting" thing was a gimmick and a sales stunt. That seems likely to me, but why bother, when other already existing & yet-to-be-updated gestalt teams were available?

If Hasbro was desperate for a familiar, strong female character, why not complete the Generations Fem-bot team with MoonRacer, FireStar, Elita-1, etc., or better yet, make us an MP Arcee? Saving money by re-tooling existing CW figures was their aim, but the result is a bit disappointing.

Still, it is good to have choices and I wonder if and what Takara can make of these. Takara's been full of surprises with their Deluxe Groove and Blast-Off lately, so I'll hold out hope for at least a better colored Victorion later on. Now, bring on Computron and as many other gestalt-teams as possible!
