Maybe it's more the Helicoptors + cars combo I'm not feeling, I dunno - with ZERO nostalgia connection, this thing is going to have to look absolutely amazing for me to buy, especially if it's mostly repaints with new heads.

I could see getting the torso-bot for my "leftovers" team with Alpha Bravo and Ironhide (since I'll probably pass on either prime mold and the rest of the car repaints)

 

She looks cool although I got the feeling that she'll be more of a repaint/retool of existing figures.

 

If the 2 choppers are like twin sisters with significant repaint/ head sculpt difference in a 2 pack with different guns for each and different hand/feet id dig it. No problem with the same mold being used.
As for hotspot being the torso > remolded i get that. its far easier to use the chest piece alter it to look feminine then any other out there. And you do not need the entire ladder thing in a remold. Like a rotating turret like AA vehicle with a section that can flip up to be the head would definitely work. Meaning that everything for the combiner torso would be located in that turret which would be on the back of the character like a backpack.
You get enough liberty to make both the comber chest as the regular chest look like a female. Also the front of the vehicle that is basically the legs could look far more sleek since they turn around. It would work with hotspot's mold/remolding yes.

 

I'll probably buy the UW version if it comes out. Especially if Windblade is anything to go by.

 

Color me excited to pick this one up, it's hitting several right notes for my taste in TF teams. Hopefully we'll also see some aftermarket (3P) add-on designs for her, considering the mold reuse will be a bit limiting versus the comic aesthetic.

 

Victorion will be the first and probably only cw tf action I buy. Can't wait to get her!

The bit of the leg we can see looks sort of like the Breakdown mode, but I'm hoping it's Dead End.

wait, victorion is consist of 6 transformers? like devastator? or did the 6th transformer just become a gun?

 

The 6th member is a Legends Groove redcoe.

 

Might be the gun.

I already pointed out the gun has wheels on it, so obviously the sixth member is the gun in the comics.

Yeah, sixth member is a Groove redeco, but looking at the pic it very possible in the comics she'll be a cannon rather then a chest-plate. I doubt the actual toy will carry that over, though.

Of course, in Combiner Wars Groove magically disappeared whenever Defensor was formed, so maybe the combiner power of bikes in IDW is creating Hammer Space  

 

Yuck, that is a horrible head sculpt (imo).

 

Got a bruise on my ass now thanks. No but seriously as a rule i dont do remolds to save money that can go on a completely different figure. So hasbro is really killing me here. But that money saved got me a wardog so its good, its always good in my house!
