Been a while since I posted anything in here. I'm currently working on some old models from over a year ago, and trying to get them finished off. So I thought I would start a general thread on my current work in progress models. I'll update this first post with whatever current model I'm working on, so that there is no need to look through the thread to find new updates. :)

    Classics Optimus:
95% of what is done so far was completed before the toy got released. So I need to rework some of him. Currently rebuilding the head. Never liked what I had before.

Update 02/22/08 - Rough render to see what Prime looks like in robot mode with some quick colors.

    Classics Megatron:
Megatron has been very close to being done modeling wise. I stopped after modeling his head. Wasn't happy with the look, so I spent time reshaping it. Work got busy at my job, and I stopped completely working on him. Anyways, here is the 4th revised face. The following renders were never shown in my old Megatron WIP thread. These are all old renders, except for the face.

nice work i really like it. especially the definition in the detailing. Are you using good lighting techiniques to get good definition in your detailing?

Thanks for the compliments. I'm using HDRI lighting along with some custom lights to light up my scene.

Here is a render of the head showing the different objects. Each solid color indicates a solid object. I don't use booleans, and for Prime's head, I didn't combine any objects, unless I had to mirror it on the other side.
