So I'm thinking of getting these repaints now. Venksta's heads and guns definitely make these figures look 1000% better (if I by a repaint, I gotta have slight retools unless it's a seeker mold in most cases). How much does he sell these for? (I would've sent him a PM but I don't know if his name has any numbers or other characters in it)

 

roughly 40 for the darkwing set, but i don't know if there are any left

But they are SO worth it. I got two sets and did some parts swapping so I could net myself a Darkwind AND a Hydra   (And a G2 AirRaid, but he's less exciting)

Darkwind was my first renderform set and it is utterly awesome. It seams pricey but Venksta included the head, three visors, two rifles, two pistols, a sword, and a shield. It's hard to complain after that and his quality is great.

Everyone of his sets is worth it

I personally contacted him about Darkwind kit about 2mths ago, he stated to me that they are sold out and that he might do a rerun of it by Spring 2012. The demand is high for his kits.. that's a "maybe" though.

 

Mine are en route, I'll let you know quality etc... when I get them. I hear very good things.

 

I have the Skyfall set, I can't remember if it was $30 or $40. It's awesome though, great quality. Venksta's a class act all the way!

 

Here's another thumbs up for Venksta. I have Skyjack and Darkwing and both add so much to those molds. I really regret passing on the red head Red Alert and look forward to a possible new version from Venksta in the future, and I have Goldbug paid for. He does wonderful work. If he puts the Darkwing kit back up for sale again I wouldn't pass on it.

Here's my Skyfall. I only got one gun though.

 

Right now I'm saying highly doubtful for any re-release since he has WAAAY to much on his plate. Didn't realize the prices had shot up so high. I sold my spare Skyjack head at cost earlier in the year.

 

sorry no shots of the small gun, but the two grey ones, the head, and the purple one are all venksta's, flawless casting and good quality plastic/resin
