Did anyone else's orders update to add these "if unavailable" settings? Glad they defaulted on not replacing, or else I'd get hit with some real BS when I wasn't looking

Oh dear. That might mean they’re fulfilling yours from a store. If the store doesn’t have exactly what you want, they’ll cancel your order. I know that option was there the five times I ordered Override (and all but one canceled)

If it weren't for how expensive international shipping is, I'd have gotten one of those ones from the UK already. I just don't want to pay more for shipping than I do for the toy.

Man these scalpers are ruthless. Fortunately I'm not in the market for Cosmos, but every time I go to my local walmart and they've refreshed the Velocitron Deluxes, Cosmos is the only one missing

You wouldn't. The UK price is £26 and it would be cheaper than that to post to the US.

A quick scan of eBay has UK shipping to the US anywhere from $16-22, but the asking price for Cosmos may be offsetting that somewhat.

This is plain silly. I may have to ask my buddy with family in China if I could phone in a favor... Cosmos for dinner on me. A fair trade.

I have shipped a handful of toys to UK. Not Velocitron Cosmos but similar in size and weight. Shipping for deluxe figure cost me $22 dollars since I had to ship it in a thick box with a lot of bubble wrap for protection.

I have shipped quite a few Cosmos figures from the UK. Shipping to US got expensive around six months ago. It is the now the most expensive place to ship to in the world (Except probably Russia) I shipped a Cosmos to Chile today for £17.10 but it costs me £22 to send it to US. Even Canada is cheaper, it comes from what USPS charges Royal Mail. Currently have a couple listed on eBay that work out at £5 profit each for me.

Didn't Hasbro make one small comment that they "hear (us)" about the ridic Cosmos stock in the US? Ya'll think anything will ever become of that?

And FWIW, I've visited more Walmarts than I am willing to disclose on these boards and found every character except Cosmos LOL

I don't think I'll ever understand how store exclusives help anyone, least of all fans.

I mean they do help. Just not everyone. And just not equally.
The order with which they help:
    1) scalpers - obviously
    2) Hasbro - part of the everlasting fight for retail shelf space plus additional sales
    3) Store that has the exclusive - getting additional foot traffic plus additional sales
    4) fans who find the figure - only so much budget and only so many non-repaint slots available that there’s a chance the figure isn’t made/is just a crappy remold of Origins Bumblebee/gets made but maybe it doesn’t happen for another year or 2

    who it doesn’t help:
    Fans that’s don’t find one.

I like the way target handles exclusives by making them undesirable :)

I've been to most of the walmart's in my city and have found every single character in the wave but only cosmos was missing. 1-3 cosmos per Walmart is simply not enough to satisfy customers. There has to be a restock eventually right? Please hasbro I have money just let me give you it.

Is it true Cosmos's UPC works for everyone in the deluxe assortment? I phoned Walmart and gave them the UPC and they said they (And the other stores around me) didn't have it, but the very next day I went to a Walmart near me and they had one Road Rocket and two Burnouts

I believe the UPCs are different but the SKUs are the same.

Can confirm the barcode number being the same. I asked an employee to scan the cosmos barcode and her phone said 18 in stock. Went over there and it was 18 of the total deluxes. Then she scanned the tag and same result.

I guess that makes sense, thanks
    Thanks for the insight

But now the real question is, did you get Cosmos?

Here are the UPCs for Cosmos (left) and Clampdown (right):
    B01B5B82-2A43-4800-A1BD-222402A4DAA6.jpeg 015ADBA1-B645-488F-951B-DBF8C632F310.jpeg

If you notice to the right of the barcodes there are 2 different F numbers. Since Walmart has been ordering the Velocitron deluxes in assortment cases, the different UPCs will all point to the F3075 assortment code for their inventory.
