I have to say that this sub-line in my opinion is it's own separate thing from the Legacy line at this point. Personally I enjoy it much more than the main Legacy line. In my most humble opinion I feel it should be appreciated as such since there's enough to differentiate. So to all who see this plesse show off the figures you've gotten from the Speedia 500!

But anyway, here's what I got so far!  

 

Never got in on Cosmos, but surprisingly Clampdown has been the star of the show for me. He seemed like the most boring redeco of the bunch (maybe tied with Burnout) at first, but in hand he's absolutely brilliant. Easily my favorite variant of the WFC Lambo mold (mainly because he doesn't have an annoying block of mismatched plastic in his vehicle mode like all the others do).





This is a really cool sub-line. It's a shame that there's no real fiction for it, but I think enough is implied through the packaging and the toys themselves to make it fun. I really hope we see more stuff like this!

Where are the armblades from please?

 

They're the effect parts from Siege Battle Master Rung. I like to think of them as taser-like weapons that Clampdown insists are "non-lethal" (even though they are obviously very lethal).

Well, there is this manga TakaraTomy released.

 

I got Roadrocket, she's a really nice looking figure. She even wears the chest armour like a crop top now.
I think Roadrocket's one of the better uses of the Arcee mold along with Flamewar.

 

As well as this there's the Wreckers Treads & Circuits comics which are based around the Speedia 500 race. The characters aren't introduced in depth but it gives some nice backstory to Velocitron and the race itself, plus they do crop up in a canny few panels.

A lot of people weren't keen, but I found them an enjoyable read  

 

I personally enjoyed the miniseries except for the ending, I just disliked the absolute twist there.

 

I will turn your wish to a reality. I have an extra Cosmos if you need one. I got one for a local guy but he didn’t need it so it’s all yours.

Walmart's absolute nonsense aside, this was my favorite line from last year. I only got Cosmos, Clampdown, Hauler, and Shadowstrip, but I love the collection of complete nobodies. Much better selection IMO than their Netflix line.

Cosmos is one of my favorite characters, and the toy is great, but Hauler is the one I keep pulling out to mess with. The color, the screaming face, the simplistic transformation; it just works for me.

Hoping that Galaxy Shuttle goes the way of Scourge and becomes a lot more accessible...

 

Nice line. Great to see Diaclone and G2 characters at retail. Plus they fixed Blurr's face.



Only figure I didn't like was Hauler. I've always loved the Inferno/Grapple design but this mold is too small for my taste and I don't like the scream.
