Believe it or not that’s NOT the first time there’s been an anime take on Scooby-Doo Anime Scooby Doo | Fandom
Venture Bros is still on HBO Max last I checked. There is supposed to be a movie coming out for HBO Max as well, one that is supposed to wrap things up. Don't forget, CN is WB, and WB owns HBO, so basically their entire library can go to HBO Max. Which is why I am surprised there isn't more Adult Swim/Toonami anime on there. There's a few here and there, but they could have so much more than what they have. Yea, this show especially reminds me of those two comics. It has all the same elements as the Velma series, only real difference is the actual skin it's wearing. Which could be replaced with any other skin and it'd still be the same show. It just needs to be something old and popular to get people's blood boiling, so these creators can feel good about themselves for fighting back against the nerds, for some reason. Yea, of course it's not the first anime take, and surely won't be the last. I've seen quite a lot of them.
You’re the one who asked whether it was ok to creep on women. Aren't we politically correct folks supposed to be oversensitive about consent and sexuality? I can’t keep up with the stereotypes.
I love the early 2000’s manga feel this has. It’s awesome, and the design for the ship captain in the top right is badass.
Now, if you're asking whether its "ok" for the show to portray Shaggy/Norville creeping on women because he's a guy, I mean sure? Shows can portray a lot of things that aren't supposed to be morally acceptable.
And people wonder why fewer people date and populations are dropping these days..... How dare anyone be attracted to anyone anymore. If you show any attraction your a creep. Even if you don't do anything. I mean look at the conversations we keep having.
Those are all great, but I swear, if I were doing a redesign, the first thing to go would be Fred’s ascot.
Lol, "populations are dropping because people are too sensitive to date." Take it easy, Skinner. Sometimes, its not the children who are wrong.
Oh, especially during sex. At all times even. It never comes off. Scooby and Shaggy Get a Clue, while I like the designs... However, he looks so incomplete without the ascot. It's an iconic staple of the character. Just as much as Velma wearing glasses and her orange turtleneck sweater, or Daphne wearing a purple dress. Even the Venture Bros understood just how much Fred needed that ascot.
Nah. I’ve seen some good redesigns that keep orange in his color palette somewhere, and that’s how I prefer it. The ascot is used more like a joke anymore & I’d want to get away from that.
