urk! double post
Thanks, Skids looks better like that. Recieved him today
After this transformation, you can shift the front seats upwards. There is a slider joint. This will moke the seats look like they belong to the backpack, instead of a buttflap
I tried that and the seats came off the figure, so you can get rid of them in bot mode if you wish.
Dang I had accidently transformed him like this with out knowing my fault for not reading instructions
Man you are a genius, at least today.
I so wondered why he was so loose and fragle, top side, never even noticed that did that.
Hey, that looks much better, thanks LB! I always just assumed Skids had a big package...
Good eye! Range of motion with the head is much better now. Thanks for sharing.
Hmmm interesting. Could you post a pic of the 'corrected' Skids from front view? I think I've got it, but Skids looks like he has no neck now and it looks strange to the extent that I've decided to leave him in the 'wrong' form.
Wow that does make skids look a lot better, thanks
just took a look at my Skids and it sems I did it right on accident. yay!
Had that pelvis piece right, just didn't extend the legs.
Nicely done, he clearly wasnt supposed to be doing the pelvic thrust
I also hated that when I did this. He looked like he had no neck or he had a double chin. My solution is don't connect the head piece to the hood. Let it sit a little bit back and he looks so much better.
It really drives me insa-yay-yay-yane!
Seriously though, I need to get me a Skids. Once I free Prowl and Sunstreaker from the Pile of Loot, I'm going after him.
Your wish is my command --blink!--
After taking the pics and throwing them into Photoshop I noticed that I have him posed with his pelvis thrust forward a bit (not neeeearly as much as before the fix). I like to pose my boys in neutral at-attention-but-resting poses, and that sometimes means I have them leaning back a bit. So don't think I'm trying to be misleading about this fix; that's just how I pose my TFs without really thinking about it.
Aaaaanyway, as for the head, it's still a bit sunken in, but as you can see it looks fine. If you look closely, it actually sits high enough up in perportion to the rest of his body, but the shoulder clasps are bulky and make it look like the heads down too far (as opposed to say Swindle, who'se head clearly is sunken in).
Hope this helps!
-LB is gone in a puff of logic
I use the correction (figured it out myself pretty much right away), but it does look like the one on the right.
The correction on my BT also looks more like the right picture. Can't see what's wrong with the left one. Looks like he doesn't even have those shoulder clips. But that's impossible to see from this view. This picture also demonstrates why I'm more into the BT line than Alts.
I like the Pelvic Thrust version too. It makes for better upright poses IMO, More Anime.
I do wanna try the correction *wishes I brought him to work today* That part of the Transformation has been bugging me though.
Wow, two consecutive Rocky Horror references to Skids. I just had to do this:
well i'll be damned...lol
Separate names with a comma.
