I've been playing with Illidan since he got here. I love this thing. But I say that about most of my toys. :lol

So I binge watched a TV show on Amazon called fallout this last weekend. Now I need figures from it. At least the ghoul. I can't find any 1/12 posable figures from this show though. Do we know of any announcements?

BTW, I recommend the show. It is apparently based on a video game of the same name but I have never played it. The show however is fantastic in my opinion.

Hard to believe you've never heard of Fallout as it's been around since 1998. But, whatever. The vast majority of merch to date is going to be based on the many games. As the show is relatively new, unless merch was planned in advance, it typically takes 12 to 18 months for toy an collectables dev. Stuff is starting to trickle out now. But It might be a while before we see action figures. ThreeZero has some very impressive 1/6 scale power armor out now.

I've heard the name, and seen the Fallout mascot. But didn't really know anything about it until the chatter and reviews of the show. I don't know that I could say it was even a video game.

I play a lot of Classic Nintendo franchises, but not much else.

I may have heard of it in passing but in reality if it isn't a toyline talked about on tfw, I probably don't know the property.

By the late 90s I was focused on being college bound and by the early 2000s I was focused on my career and beginning stage of my family. So most stuff from 99 ish to about 2005 are things that didn't catch my attention at all.

My point was the latter part. It may be a while, a year or more, before any signifigant Fallout TV show merch becomes available. Especially 6in figures. It is not a kids show and it is not from one of the big hollywood studios/IPs. Amazon probably wasn't sure or not if it would be a hit and didn't license the hell out of merch a year ago so that merch would be hitting retail now. It amy be a while...

I knew nothing about it before the show either, but I'm not a gamer.

So, Snail Shell is definitely making this optional feet deal a thing.

Why they can't just include the feet with all this other stuff? I have no idea other than to single out the people who just have to have them and make them pay extra for it?

No clue. But BBTS is carrying the optional feet this time:

    And the main figure:

Who knows, but try and picture the full pack-out with the feet included and it would seem a little weird to have all those feet, but a limited selection of hands. Some might think, "Oh, this figure is meant for a particular type of perv. I'm just a normal horny boy. I guess I should skip it."

The real answer is probably that they have found the market is very price sensitive and the feet were superfluous. But somebody there really wanted those feet released, so this was the compromise.

Keep in mind that the Succubus and Fun Nun are sibling figures, so it kind of makes sense that they're sharing the same set of feet. I wouldn't expect this on every Snail Shell figure going forward.

Just shit on my dreams why don't you? Here I was eagerly awaiting some barefeet options for Pumpkin Princess and Bunny Girl Eileen. This could be a whole new market for Snail Shell. Bare fins for the cybermermaid Doris. Bare hooves for Gray Raven Rosetta. The options are endless.

Count me in with you guys too. I have heard about the game but tbh the genre (game wise) didn’t appeal to me so I didn't develop an interest in the franchise.

…got to admit that I’m tempted to pick my first ‘non-main franchise’ female (e.g. Leia, Wonder Woman, Sue Storm…x)
