how much did you pay a piece? i still showed $62.99 today when i checked out from my cart, that $30s&h was horrible though
It was $62.99 each plus the $30 shipping. They were originally $53 with the estimated shipping around $20 when I original posted about them going up for preorder. I knew they were going to go up in price eventually but didn’t realize it would happen so soon.
Yeah. Shartmius shared a video explaining a bit. Update 12: Street Humans Kickstarter Final Update 10:21:21 · Street Humans™️ by SP Figures LLC - ShartimusPrime (Canceled) There was a lot of info lacking in the campaign which garnered a significant amount of criticism. Honestly can’t say that criticism wasn’t deserved. He definitely launched the campaign prematurely. Hopefully he can get everything in order whenever he relaunches the campaign. I’d really love to see those figures get made.
Yeah, I watched the video after I posted earlier. Agreed that he launched too early without having any pre-samples to show off. I'm sorta interested in the figures. Instead maybe I'll check out the Ringside Chaos Kickstarter to get some security guards and hopefully a medic. Ringside Chaos by Squared Circle Toys
I might have to watch this one. I don’t collect wrestling stuff but some of those are generic enough to repurposed. Hope the medic and officer get unlocked.
The medic is the one I'm really hoping gets unlocked. Then again, maybe I should save my money for the eventual starts of the Cursed Dead or Mortal Ruin Kickstarters. I did back the 6" pilot figure from that Roboskull KS, but I don't have room for that flying skull.
I was initially considering getting the full line but after seeing how short were the adult Pillar figures to scale, I decided not to. I'll just get Giyu and Shinobu for the Pillars and call it a day. Maybe Yorichi, upper moon 1, and Muzan.
This might not be the right thread, but I just got the TBLeague Red Sonja. Anyone else have figures from that line and have issues with the joints? The one I got has no bend in the right elbow and I'm concerned about forcing it.
I bought their Valkyrie figure and she had some extremely tight elbow joints that required an uncomfortable amount of force to move.
The issue with mine is that the elbow "pops" almost like a clicking ratchet from completely straight to mostly straight; a difference of just a few degrees. After that "pop" it doesn't want to move at all. One of my concerns is that the internal skeleton is turned out of alignment under the arm but because of the seamless body I can't tell if the joint's lined up or not.
Testing my Valkyrie, her elbows don’t pop and don’t seem to move beyond completely straight when I try to bend them backwards, so I can’t say what the issue is with your figure. I don’t have any other figures from them so my experience is limited here, sorry.
I dont have any of those type of bodies yet. I have been thinking on a few but from what I have read leaving them posed in articulated poses for long times may be problematic with the outer skin. Kind of worrisome to drop nearly a hundred on a figure to then have issues with it stretching the skin or breaking through.
I have the Anubis figure but I won't actually see him til next yr so I can't really speak on it either other than he looked great on the video call when my wife showed me him
Yeah the instructions that came with said something to that effect. Basically change regularly or return to default shipping pose.
Update: I was able to work the elbow out and now it has decent movement. Thanks to everyone that chimed in.
Just thought these were interesting. Santa(s) are about 6 inches and the others about 4 inches. BBTS link: Fresh Monkey Santa and friends
