Agreed, definitely caught me a bit off guard. To some degree the game reminded me of the old snes Batman Forever game

Always loved playing that one back in the day, though the Mortal Kombat style combos always tripped me up since I wasn't too good at them

On a related note, is anyone having issues with server connections on Steam? I can play games without any apparent issues, but I may as well be logged out of my account on the store, and it keeps getting a server connection error when it tries to check my log in (e.g. checking my account). I also tried downloading the mobile app and was able to log in... and then it started doing the same sort of things.

I hadn't had any trouble as of about 30 minutes ago, but I've also been on a browser and not in the steam client

Seems to be resolved now. Maybe just a rush causing some servers to have issues?

Well, got inadvertently spoiled on a Christmas present yesterday, looks like I'll be getting the ivoler dock that has the gigabit ethernet port as a present this year, now I just need to make sure I've got an extra power cable and room on my power strip haha

Got an ivoler dock for Christmas, the one with the gigabit ethernet port. It's really nice and works well. Just hooked it up and spent some time running Xbox Game Pass through the dock and didn't have any display issues.

I got this one through Amazon Vine: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0BKT2DQQ9

ECHTPower. I have to admit, it's a really nice dock. It'll be getting a 5-star out of me.
For those who don't wish to click a link...
    100-watt power input (USB-C) x1
    USB 3.0 x3
    DisplayPort x1 (4k60)
    HDMI 2.0 x1 (4k60)
    Gigabit Ethernet x1
...and are you ready for this? VGA! They threw in a VGA port! (I can't believe it!) Can't test it, though. Don't have a cable or a monitor capable of utilizing it. (Sadly.)

An excellent cut-out for ventilation, sits in there snugly and firmly, without marking up the unit at all. Really impressive piece. The casing is machined aluminum.

Amazing for free, but welll worth the money if I had actually paid the $50.00 for it. Wow.

Sounds about on par with the ivoler one I got with the exception of the extra display outputs, sounds like you got a great deal on it

Apparently has a lifetime warranty on it as well. I'm using it right now on my TV and trying out the Ethernet. It's pretty doggone good. Honestly, better speeds in Windows (via SD Card/WinToGo) than in SteamOS. And my gosh, I hate dealing with multiple displays in SOS, it just works in Windows. They've *GOT* to fix that, otherwise, these docks will be useless in the long run.

Nice. I haven't tested the ethernet on the ivoler dock yet, gotta get a long enough cable to get to my router but I'm hoping to get that setup before I download my next game.

I have Velop nodes from Linksys to form a MESH network in my house and it performs very well, considering. I use that for Ethernet connections. Bare minimum of 100+ Mbps over that. At 1500sqft, that's pretty impressive. I've hit 300+ on occasion, so I'm glad to have those. Using WiFi without them when we first moved in was a nightmare. 15-25mbps on 2G and 5G. We were not happy campers.

That's a nice setup. Currently at my place, everything runs on WiFi except my PC and my gf's PC, but the modem/router is in the same room as them and my Deck dock

We had to, unfortunately. The previous owner of the house put satellite connections in the family room, so no joy there.
He then put the cable line in the office/spare bedroom...all the way on the other side of the house.
No Ethernet, no Powerline or MoCA adaptation possible, so MESH it was. Ordered another node to help bridge the gap. Should be here, soon. (I hope it works.)

Oh wow, yea, definitely sounds like the nodes were a much needed investment
