Could this be... a good remake? The signs are promising so far. They'd better do the hamster-eating scene.
I'm sold. Never saw the original, but I'm sold. Should keep my Doctor Who fetish on hold for a few hours. I originally thought this was for a V is for Vendetta remake.
well i would give this a chance, but i really hope your not right about the 4 seasons thing, it will probably lose its way if it does.
Never saw the original but I do have it in my netflix list. Looks possibly interesting, I'll probably give it a watch.
Looks very promising. I loved the original mini-series... and this looks like a nice update. Not sure about the four seasons thing, though.
No, not another remake and that arrival scene looks like a total rip.off of "Independence Day". and yes, i'm kidding again so dont hit me. ^^ Looks good, i just hope its not like the new Galactica.
You hope it isn't totally awesome, well written, reasonably acted and the best show on TV for 4 years strait?
I loved the original, but I doubt I'll stick with this if it's going to be the exact same story just stretched out. Maybe I'll eat my words later though...
No. I think he hopes they don't throw away everything that made the original enjoyable, while getting drug down in overdone drama, and character angst.
And action, and humor, and compelling characters. Seriously. I used to watch that show. I even liked it, for a while. But, sometime after they got off of New Caprica, I realized that I just didn't care about any of the characters. They all just annoyed me, and seemed to have similar effect on each other. They sucked everything out of that franchise that made it enjoyable. I'm hoping that this new V won't make new BSGs mistakes.
And nostalgia goggles? Almost the same stock action every episode, the same cheesey humor as dozens of other shows from back then and generic characters that barely went anywhere.
