I vaguely remember watching the original miniseries when I was a kid. The beauties from Firefly and Lost do help.
Looks interesting, very interesting. Looks like it'll be a good movie. I'll definitely have to see it when it comes out.
Not bad, I remember a bit of the original and look forward to it. Now also hoping for a Robert Englund cameo
Looks pretty good, but what did they do to Morena? The Visitors' shuttles look a heck of a lot like the originals -- just black instead of white.
It doesn't look bad, but I think the giant TV screen on the bottom of the ship was a bit odd in a bad way. I would kinda hope though, that there's enough new content, at least storywise, for those of us familiar with the story to enjoy.
Saw the Pilot, it was decent, but it's by the guy who did the 4400 show so there are a lot of former cast members. The special effects are good. I need to see more episodes though before I judge. Spoilers The Twist: Not all the aliens are evil and there have been refugees hiding on earth for years. Also a few sleeper agents for the enemy in positions of power.
are they still lizards? if they're still lizards i'm in oh and the problem i have with the remake is they want to draw it out for 4 seasons. that's gonna lead to a lot of padding. the reason the original 2 miniseries worked was because they had a finite time to tell the story. when they went ongoing the series suffered. also the longer the series the more vunerable to change in plot, and creative direction it becomes. (see Nbsg's butchering of their own plot, and andromeda after sorbo wrestled creative control from the guys who wrote the first 2 seasons)
Yup. The trailer shows a lizard's face and left eye under the fake human skin in one brief scene near the end of the clip. It was a bit more gross than the NBC original. I wasn't expecting that, especially when I was eating. I can watch that stuff when I'm expecting it (and not eating lol)...that almost cost me my dinner.
