This chapter's got it all: heroism! (OP and Roller team up "like the old times,") action! (Rollbar getting the drop on Mirage) and best of all comedy! (giant combiner peg made out of combiner pegs, Galvatron's head griping when his host Cyclonus falls unconscious, "Eeek! Save me Starscream!")

I'm not a huge fan of Galvatronus or Baldigus but it's enough to make me want to chase after the UW sets... wait, I see what Takara did there with these PDF releases.

 

Nothing about Roller's appearance in these comics ever proved that he was going to be revealed as someone he's not, that was all just fans falling for the red herring and connecting dots that weren't really there.

Even Roberts said flat out that only like two people know what happened with Roller, and that seems to still be the case.

 

I really like these comics, hope they make more like them.
 

 

i seriously love these comics...fun little story with just a enough sillyness to make it fun. i can't thank you guys enough for the translations. would you be willing to do the same for the previous UW and maybe some of the legends releases as well?

Someone mentioned using the CW Strafe mold in another team yet...and that's honestly probably still an option for Takara. They used Offroad and Rook with just a new paint job.

So things like CW Strafe and the CW drill accessory for Nosecone could still show up in Unite Warriors should Takara decide they want to extend the line with minimum work.

Are there any other heads they haven't used yet? Besides CW Liokaiser.

 

I just remembered that. I don't expect this to happen but what if they brought in FoC Ruination? You got Impactor's head, a fictional aircraft for Topspin, and a drill "tank" for Twin Twist. All that's missing is Roadbuster and and Whirl but I supsect they'll replace them or do something else.

The toy is not that accurate to Topspin but I can still see it working. Like I said I don't expect this to happen since A) We already have *a* Ruination and B) This would be the sixth or seventh use of the Hopspot/Onslaught mold.

 

The thing with Impactor is that head is (allegedly) TFCC's unique mold.

Rook is still the only mold to not get a second head *at retail* between CW and UW. I can't imagine either Hasbro or Takara passing on an opportunity to reuse the mold.

 

Inferno head on Hotspot, Hoist head on Trailbreaker, Demolisher head on Onslaught, and Brawl head on Rook.

CW Strafe's too.

 

Aside from Demolishor are those other heads we knew existed?

 

Love the coffee part, as a nod to ruination\' she bio, stating that he runs on coffee beans.

 

We don't know, but they've been heavily implied by TFCC comics and prose fiction (and meet the 2 heads per mold rule o' thumb).

The Brawl/Rook head thing has been in the air since Defensor was announced (something about Hasbro not being sure they'd get the budget to do Brawl, which also explained why the pushed Bruticus back so far). I feel most sure of that one.

Also add in the Counterpunch head for Wheeljack and Toxitron head for Motormaster as HasTak designed heads that haven't been used by Takara

 

I like the idea of this but I'd rather have a Liokaiser.

God Magnus from Rook mold....sounds good to me.

 

Or Takara would make a Combiner Team Based on the Star Seekers, What's Wrong with making CW Strafe into Cannonball anyways?

Yeah, alot of people are kinda focused on Leokaiser and the hope that they will get two new molds out of it. I could see why. I guess.

Ehhh... I'm not big with that idea, Rook and God Magnus' Color schemes might be too similar to each other, Except for placement. (Both being White,Black and Blue being part of their color motif.)
