About 2 hours ago, I took UW Menasor off the shelf and play around with it. As I was transforming Motormaster to vehicle mode, his lower half had come off and to my horror, his lower abdomen where his waist joint goes had disintegrated!

Is there a way to fix this?

Ouch. That's a real shame to hear that especially since it's a UW release. :(

On the bright side the hip ratchets are now no longer his biggest problem.

But yeah, that really sucks and I see no easy way to fix it. May have to cannibalize a Hasbro mm if its even possible.

Maybe try hunting down a cheap CW Motormaster and part swap?

I remember hearing about this from someone else; unfortunately I don't really know of a fix for it

It does indeed look like GPS. I think I see some swirls in the shoulders and the hips. If Seibertron has a galley, that'll be the best way to see if the plastic is swirly.

Well typical hasblow...oh wait this is one of those holy grail Takara releases :p

All kidding and sarcasm aside, that really sucks man, best suggestion I can offer is find a cheap hasbro motormaster at a local discount store and see if you can canabalize the necessary parts

It's fixable, but the materials to fix it would cost more than a clearanced price Motormaster at your local Ross/Marshall's store, so like everyone said, best to just parts swap that shizz out.

Sorry for consecutive posts, but I actually have leftover Motormaster parts from custom projects that I can send over if shipping costs are covered. OP can hit me up via pm, but just FYI I think replacing that section will require a pin punch to swap out.

There is no quick fix, as the same thing happened to my UW Motormaster. I had to resort to gorilla glue to hold the waist together. My Stunticons will be staying in Menasor mode, unless I can replace MM with the U.S. version.

JB Weld Plastic Bonder is amazing stuff and would hold the pieces together. It's thick and dries whitish though.

As a lot of people have already said, try part swapping with a cheap Combiner Wars Motormaster.

Cue internet wide panic about GPS and the horrible UW QC issues the entire line is apparently suffering from.
