Found Alpha Trion/Landmine and Alchemist Prime/Submarauder at Layton Walmart just a little while ago. Still a few ATs left.

 

Also, just saw one each of (Quintus) Elita One and (Onyx) Hun-Gurrr at Centerville Target a minute ago.

They also restocked Wave 1 Deluxes AGAIN. This is literally the third or fourth time they've restocked Wave 1. I honestly am beginning to think it's not the stores that are screwing up distribution, but Hasbro. Why else would there be a literal GLUT of Wave 1 everything?

It's because the stores see how quickly the wave 1 figures sell out (due to being new figures, of course) so they order several more when all that's available to order at the time is wave 1. Then subsequent waves aren't ordered due to the amount of wave 1 figures that end up clogging the pegs, making the stores think that the figures are no longer popular so no new orders go out for them - and it's a vicious cycle for every new line.

 

The thing is, at this Target (Centerville) they had Wave 2 deluxes at one point and they were sold out within a few days. But instead of ordering that newer assortment, that sold out almost instantly, they put out another TWO restocks of the first Wave? It makes no sense to me why Wave 2 hasn't been restocked at all.

There was a re-issue in the US, check the stamps on the bottom. If I remember correctly, the re-issue had a later date stamped into the plastic.

If anyone is willing to get two of the wave 2 prime masters for me, I would appreciate it! I'm in southern Utah for a few days and will check any Wal-Mart's I come across, but I don't have a lot of hope. (I live in Lehi, so I'm happy to go anywhere in the two valleys to pick them up.)
