At comicon... Nothing good really. Too many people and too much crap no one seems to want, at prices two or three times ebay... Sooooooooo... Never gonna do this again.

 

I was thinking of going to the con for that reason. At least I can not go and save the money.

 

Yeah, no toys at decent prices at the Con (though I was sorely tempted on some gundam kits). I did have a nice chat with Ken Christensen, and bought a couple nice posters from him.

 

Did anyone there sell figure stands? I'm looking for tamashii nation stands.

 

I didn't see anyone sell any stands separately. A few figures came with stands... It was a joke of a convention... Then again, I lived in California for 14 years, where people KNOW how to throw a shindig....

 

I haven't lived in California but I've been to Sdcc the past 5 years and I know that salt Lake can't match that convention.

 

One thing to realize, though, is that SDCC has been going on for 44 years....SLCC has been going on for 2. It's not hard to run a great, renowned convention when you've had over 4 decades of experience doing it. From all accounts, this year's SLCC was much better than last year's. Give it a little time and it will be a great experience.

 

Not transformers related, but at the convention, vendors were selling marvel legends carnage for $40 to $50... I walked into TRU and there it was, $21. Glad I hemmed and hawed...

 

Saw one Voyager Roadbuster at Target on 300 West in Salt Lake. Oddly, he was on an endcap with Springer, a bunch of AOE Power Attackers, and the six-pack of One-Step Changers with Silver Knight Optimus.....but the endcap was like six aisles away from the action figures...it was right across from apparel, at the beginning of the toy section.

 

LEADER JETFIRE! There were two at kmart off of 2600 south in woods cross. I got one of them

 

2 legends nemesis primes, 3 legends cliffjumpers and a ton of Optimus and grimmy 2 packs at state street TRU. they also had 1 rattrap.

 

Couple of movie, and classic prime two packs at sugar house tru. I'm really diggin the chrome

 

Saw a Lockdown, Leader-class Silver Knight Optimus and Slash at Salt Lake Target, and A bunch of Rattraps and Tankors at 1300 South Walmart.

 

Three MP Prowls & One Leader Jetfire at TRU Sugarhouse. 69.99 & 46.99.

 

Ahh. I want that Jetfire, but I just paid for MP Wheeljack and it's not within my budget to get the leader.

I just picked up voyager Slug and Voyager Drift at the Lindon Walmart. 1 each of both still there. check the endcap several aisles down though.

 

Downtown Salt Lake WalMart has voyagers Slog, Skybite, Roadbuster, and Deluxe Rattrap.

Has anyone seen or do you have an extra Tailgate?

 

Update: Salt Lake Walmart on 1300 South doesn't have any more of Slog, but among Voyagers, there are still 1 Hound, 6 Sky Byte, 6 Roadbuster, a handful of Optimus and Grimlock, and 10 Galvatron.
