Using PAL Wii on NTSC TV. Solution?

    I bought a Wii when I was in Australia, which is a PAL region, and would like to play it on my NTSC TV now that I'm back in Canada. I've heard that buying Wii component cables makes this possible. Can anyone verify?

    Yeah, just buy a cable that connects the Wii to an NTSC TV. I had the same issue and it works just fine.

    Are you using a CRT? If not you should be fine regardless of cables.
